This set is for couples who like to occasionally dabble in bondage, or for newbies, who would like to try it and see if it's something they'd enjoy. It's affordable, comfortable, easily taken along when traveling, un-intimidating, works well, and is simple to figure out. You can use it in a variety of different places and settings.

The cuffs and blindfold are all made of a furry material, similar to the pelt of one of the old beanie babies. It's double sided, so there are no rough edges. They are a nice red color, not pinky-red, which I was glad about. I don't like my reds to be magenta colored; too difficult to match with other reds!

The blindfold features a simple elastic headband and it will fit basically all head sizes comfortably (unless maybe your head is very small). It has unfinished edges, which I found to be somewhat unattractive.


That being said, it isn't hideous; just not beautiful.

The cuffs are 2" wide and have 1" wide, 40" long nylon straps over the center of them. They work with strips of velcro. My wrists are pretty small and only a small amount of the other strip of velcro was left out when I wrapped the cuffs around them. I was skeptical as to whether or not it would hold well, but the cuffs would work with very slender wrists. They also could very comfortably restrain someone with up to 12" circumference ankles (or whatever other body part you're restraining; I won't judge).


The pleasure feather is made with rooster plumes that are dyed red, a small plastic piece for holding, and a 5" loop cord. It's pretty nice. The feathers aren't just going to fall out of it like they do with some similar items.

The blindfold works quite well as long as you position it right. The fact that the edges are unfinished leaves the fabric pliable enough that it molds to your face. If you peer downward, you can see a little bit, but it's a much smaller gap than a lot of blindfolds I've been under. Such a tiny sliver, it's a lot more effort than it's worth. My eyes got tired trying to do it.

The restraints surprised me and held extremely well. I would never escape them and I'm a strong lady! Don't use this set with someone you don't trust! Judging by the materials, I can't really say how many sessions they'll hold up for. The materials don't seem too sturdy. I could be wrong, though. It wouldn't be the first time I misjudged this set.

The ties can be hard to secure. Make sure you double tie them!

The pleasure feather actually surprised me with how nice it feels on the skin. It doesn't tickle like I assumed. It produces delightful tingles that make your skin sensitive and ready for more attention.

I threw the cuffs and blindfold into a lingerie bag and washed them for you guys to see if they'd hold up alright, and they came out great. I drip dried them. I really wouldn't recommend putting them into the dryer. You never know if it will hurt. I also would not recommend getting the pleasure feather dirty in the first place. It's difficult to get feathers to come out looking fluffy and nice after cleaning them.

It comes in a clamshell packaging with a paper insert featuring some indiscreet, mediocre pictures. This looks like a product you'd buy in the naughty section of Spencer gifts. I would be embarrassed to give it as a gift because of that.



If you take out the paper and fold it up, it does look just a little bit better. You could store it that way, though it'd take up a lot more space than just tossing the set into a drawer without the packaging.
