Tried and true
If you're into bondage, even in the slightest but have children, in laws, noisy roomates, etc. this is the set for you. Incredibly discreet since you can tuck it under the mattress, and set up doesn't need to be done more than once.

I may be a little biased because I absolutely LOVE the Sportsheets brand but I have to say this is the greatest set of restraints I've owned!
I've tried different kinds of restraint systems in the past; mostly the bedpost type and never much cared for them. They're usually one piece per cuff with the cuff sewn to the strap. Because each strap is separate, the only thing you have for resistance is the bedpost, and depending on your bed that's not going to offer much, especially if you like to fight a bit. Before I tried the Sportsheets set, none of the under the mattress brands I used were large enough for my king bed.
This set is long enough to fit under my bed and still give me a bit of wiggle room with the straps. I especially love that the cuffs can be used independently if you feel like taking the fun in the next room, just unsnap the cuffs from the strap and clip them together. This also saves money since you don't have to buy a separate set of wrist cuffs. The cuffs are very comfortable on the wrists/ankles and can stand up to a good amount of tugging. Because all of the straps connect to one another pulling will get you no where, not only are you fighting the resistance caused by the weight of the mattress with you on top but you're fighting your other body parts as well.
This set is easily hidden. Simply tuck the cuffs under the mattress and no one will even know they're there. I've even forgotten when they haven't been used in awhile only to be surprised by an unexpected cuffing (don't worry...I enjoy that sort of thing ;) )
All in all this set is a GREAT buy for anyone interested in bondage and restraints.

Experience
If (and ONLY if) your S.O. is interested in this sort of play, I highly recommend buying it without their knowledge. There is nothing hotter than getting restrained out of nowhere when things start getting hot and heavy!

Thank you for viewing Under the bed restraint system – bondage system review page!
Mine doesn't tend to get horribly dirty but when it needs a wash I through it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle inside a pillow case so they don't get tangled around the agitator. The restraint straps themselves are 60'' and then there is the connector strap of the same length. The cuffs themselves are a very soft almost velvety material and are extremely comfortable to wear, the straps are made from a kind of nylon weave, similar to tow straps or tie downs (...is that good or bad?). I've never had any marks after a long play session on my wrists or ankles from the cuffs, I have left marks on my hands from twisting the strap around my hands and tugging though!
