Obviously, it's a flogger. A tiny, itty bitty, not at all scary flogger that could be used pretty well for someone new to flogging without scaring them half to death like the much larger, much thuddier floggers that dominate the market. If it's being used for light play, or as an introduction, hitting with the majority of the tail is very mild.

A snap with just the tips of the tails, however, can deliver a powerful sting and with enough force, leaves a nasty welt. It's downright beautiful. It also has a very nice whistle when you let it fly. Those thin tails can be outright mean.

Its size also makes it convenient to use in areas where you need more control. It would work well for breasts, buttocks, genitals, and other such areas.

All in all, it can make for a light warm up or it can be the main event, depending on how you wield it.

The leather this flogger is made of smells a bit like boot leather to me. The texture is slightly rough on the suede side. I find the handle to be a bit on the small side, even for my small hands, but it in itself is forgivable. The handle is roughly 4 inches long, the tails are 12 inches long and an eighth of an inch thick.

The handle, which was created by wrapping leather strips around the tails, is slightly flexible. I worry that too much flexing might damage it. It seems like the entire thing could be unraveled if it were picked at excessively, but with normal use, it should hold up for a long time.

It is also a very aesthetically pleasing toy, once you get past the initial impression of a cat toy. The leather of the handle is wound close and tight. The dual tone makes it very pretty. The size makes it unassuming and easy to carry.

Because it has thin tails, this flogger is more on the stingy end of the spectrum. A hit with moderate force with the full length of the tails is a good tease. The same amount of force using the tips of the tails, however, is a good bit more painful and can leave a nasty welt. A heavy hit from this flogger, which I was dumb enough to inflict on myself while mocking its size, has a nasty sting and can bruise as the welt heals. All in all, it can ride the spectrum from mild to "ouch" nicely, and it has, by far, the best sting of any flogger in my collection. Most of my floggers are thuddy, so it makes a very nice counterpoint. Milder than my stingier slappers and paddles, but much better for small areas, it fills a hole in my toy collection I didn't even know I had.
