This is a great beginners or "light" BDSM kit. If you are new to the bondage scene, want a playful set of restraints, or just curious to see what this is all about, this is a wonderful starter kit. Is comes with four restraint cuffs, a soft pull on mask, and a fun feather tickler. Now, this isn't meant for true restraining, but if you want a new sexual experience with your partner, this is it. It is fun, easy to use, and might I say daring for those of us new to bondage. You can even use this to guide where your partners hands are allowed or not to go during play. So, it is truly a versatile kit that almost anyone can have an exciting adventure with.

The number one thing that I love about this kit is the comfort factor. The cuffs and eye mask are made from this soft, velvety, felt material that feels amazing against your skin. No bruising on these wrists or ankles from pulling! The red portion of the cuffs are a little over 9 1/2 inches in length, and the velcro closure adds an additional 3 1/2 inches. The cuffs can be attached to your bed, chair, railing, or whatever by 1 inch thick and 42 inch long, black, nylon ties. I personally attach it to my bed frame from underneath the box-spring by using slip knots. This way I can leave my restraints in place and tuck them under the mattress when company comes over. No one is the wiser to what goes on in our bedroom!

No seams or threads have come loose since we started using this kit. I think it is definitely well made, especially with as much pulling as I have done with it.I am not the biggest fan of the eye mask only because the elastic band that holds it is too tight on my head. It works rather well at blocking your view of what pleasurable things are about to happen, but to my head, it is a bit too tight and non adjustable. The soft, velvety red portion of the mask is 8 1/2 inches long with a 12 inch black elastic band attached. The feather tickler is made with rooster feathers dyed red to match the black and red theme of the kit. It is held together by a small black plastic handle and thin wrist tie. From the base of the plastic handle to the tip of the longest feather, the tickler measures 7 inches long. Something else worth noting, the colors in this kit are true to the pictures. It is a great vibrant red and deep black. No weird pinky-red to be seen here!

To give you an idea of the fit, my relevant measurements are: wrists 6 1/4 inches, ankles 8 3/4 inches, head 22 1/4 inches.

This product definitely met all of my expectations, and then some. My husband or I have never used restraints, besides what we could scavenge at our house. It was a much better experience to have a kit designated for restraint to use during sex. It was comfortable, sexy, and exciting to use. I would recommend that you have the ties in place before starting your scene. It takes a few minutes to get all of the restraints in position and secured which could put a damper on the mood. I don't think it is a fault of the product, just an inevitable problem when setting up restraints. Since some pulling is expected, make sure you ties are secured well and adjusted to the appropriate length to your partners height. Nothing more frustrating than putting the cuffs on, yet your partner still has plenty of room to move because you didn't tie off enough length of the ties.

Like I mentioned earlier, the mask wasn't exactly comfortable for my head but it definitely amped up the sensual anticipation of every move my partner made. If I tried really hard, I could see the smallest trickle of light by my nose, but that was it. I swear I was almost breathless 5 minutes into the scene due purely to anticipation. The feather tickler added another layer to the arousal factor, but it was not the biggest draw to the kit. The feathers were very soft and gave me chills, but I am just not into being tickled. I prefer a bit more force than a feather can provide.

The slave kit came in a clear plastic box with a cardboard insert depicting a woman in a bra and panties set "torturing" her male partner, who is currently restrained by all four cuffs on a bed. The back of the box shows several pictures depicting a few different ideas for use, but no real instructions are included. The initial packaging isn't discreet by any means, but you could always remove the insert if you really want to keep the kit in the original box. The plastic box is kind of flimsy, so I personally wouldn't recommend this for storage. You could use any box or drawer to place the folded up restraints and mask in, but I would put the feather tickler in a box where it won't get crushed and lose it's shape or get damaged.
