Tie me up, and show me how you like me!
The Lovers Prisoner Kit is a great kit for those who are into light play. The collar and cuffs are soft, and the nylon leash is very sturdy. The collar and cuffs are very adjustable. However, I only recommend it for light play, and the kit does not come with care instructions.

Pros
Adjustable, soft, nice rubber whip, and sturdy nylon.
Cons
Recommended for light play only, does not come with care instructions
The Lovers Prisoner Kit is a light play kit for BDSM. This kit comes with a rubber whip, a collar, a set of restraints, and a leash. Overall, it's a very basic kit that will get the job done in most light play situations. I personally wouldn't even attempt to use this in any sort of heavy play situation, as the kit would most likely give under extreme amounts of pressure.
The collar and cuffs are in majority made of a faux fur. It has a nice velvet feel to it, very smooth. The straps are nylon. The flogger that is included is made of rubber, with a plastic handle. Cleaning this kit could be considered a nightmare, as the packaging includes nothing about how you should care for this kit. For a low priced, light play kit, the Lovers Prisoner Kit is not a bad start. However, for more moderate or heavy play, I would have to recommend another kit. Those who are allergic to rubber should take special care with this kit, as the whip is made of rubber. The leash is 43.5 inches long, with a metal clip on the end. Each cuff reaches 13.5 inches long, which is great because it is adjustable and will fit most. The collar is a total of 18.5 inches and has several snaps, three to be exact, and is very adjustable. The whip is 13.5 inches long including a strap for the wrist, a handle, and the rubber latex strings. The rubber is a concern with this kit due to allergies. If you are allergic to rubber, using the whip would not be ideal.
From a personal standpoint, I was not overall, impressed with this kit. I like a bit more rough play, and I was afraid of using this kit for the simple fact that I thought it would break. As I have mentioned, if you enjoy light play, this might be the kit for you. If you are into a bit heavier play, you should avoid this kit because it isn't very strong, and likely will not hold up to much use. If you wish to take this kit somewhere, the cuffs, collar and leash are easy to hide in luggage, while the whip may be a little bit harder to conceal.
The faux fur is very pretty. It is soft, which may appeal to some users. The whip is great, the rubber is hard to break. I attempted to see how the rubber would hold up by pulling one strand of the rubber, and it gave, but did not rip. The nylon leash is very sturdy. The cuffs will fit many different sizes of people.
Heavy play should be avoided when using this kit because of the way it is constructed, which is a pretty large con for me. The nylon straps on the faux fur appear to be a lot weaker than other portions of this kit, so care needs to be taken when using it.
Cleaning this kit is a bit rough. Previously mentioned, the packaging has no mention of how to care for it. I would recommend a damp cloth or sanitary wipe to clean this kit. If you try to put the faux fur in the washer, it may cause it to come apart. For storage, I keep mine in the plastic container it arrived in.

Experience
The overall experience I had with this kit was not the most thrilling of my life. As I am into a bit more heavy BDSM, it just would not hold up to the type of play that I am accustomed to. The faux fur felt great against my skin, and it did fit over all. For a basic, light kit, I enjoyed it, but as I have stated, it was not the most thrilling kit I own. Even though I personally did not enjoy the kit, I would recommend it to those who like lighter play.
Follow-up commentary
1 day after original review
It is still an alright kit, but it certainly isn't my favorite. I have not used the kit since the first time I opened it to use it. I wish I could say I liked this kit more, but I just do not.
