This Ostrich Feather is a great item for anyone to add to their collection. It is a great product to tease someone with; tracing lightly along the body seems to be the best use because of it's length. It's very inexpensive, around $8, but worth every penny.

The wide range of colors makes me think that these feathers are manufactured. From what I understand Ostrich feathers are bigger and thicker than these are. The colors are deep and beautiful. I went with the dark blue and it's a much nicer color than the photo showed.

The length of the handle is 15 1/2" long, and it is very thin, thinner than a pencil. The plastic is bendable, so it shouldn't break on you unless you play too rough. The grip on the end is short, it's only 3 1/2" in length.

The feeling of this feather is amazing, it moves along the skin almost effortlessly and I'm sure it could send chills down anyone's spine. The curve to this feather is nice, but it causes you not to be able to twirl the feather against the skin or the 2 feathers get caught up in each other.

Every feather is slightly different, so don't expect perfection like the photos. This tickler has two ostrich feathers next to each other, so shape and sizes may vary.

The plastic stick is an ok length, a shorter stick would have given the option for more uses than the long stick does. This feather does resemble a cat toy so if you have kitties you better hide it when not in use. I would also keep them away so they don't pounce on you or your lover while you play. My cats went nuts and wanted to steal my new toy!

It seems to be a good quality feather and seems like it will last a good long while. I did have an issue with shipping though, they jammed my feather into a box that was way too small, so when I received it my feather was smashed and destroyed. The issue has been resolved and my new replacement feather arrived in great shape this time. This tickler seems tough, I have no worries that this feather will fall out anytime soon, unless I were pull it out of the stick, that is.

There isn't much you can do along the lines of cleaning. If it gets dirty it's cheap enough to just be replaced. Just try to keep it from getting smashed or bent.

Well I do still really love my feather but sadly my cats stole it. I think they like it just a bit more than I do! I will be ordering a new one and keeping it out of my cats reach.
