This gag was a huge disappointment- not because it was altogether terrible, but because of the unworkable clasping design. If not for this, I would have rated it five stars.

The ball, itself, is great. It is not too big, the gag fits comfortably in the mouth, and the circular bits on each side of the ball feel nice on the edges of the mouth. The texture is really smooth and pleasant to feel. Because it is silicone, cleaning is easy. It does not have a taste to it, though it does have a particular silicone smell. The smell is hardly noticeable. The ball moves back and forth freely on the strap, which is good for adjustment and also allows you to change the strap if you see fit.

It is still kind of possible to talk through the gag, but it is pretty difficult. If you try to talk, the ball will sink further into your mouth; though, if you do want to keep someone quiet, this is not a bad way to do so.

The problem, however, is that the black tube that holds the silicone straps together does not move. It is not just difficult to adjust, it is impossible to adjust. I struggled with it for a good 15 minutes until the strap simply broke. It snapped apart right in front of the tube, making the strap five inches shorter. It is now barely long enough to go around the head.

The only reason why I am giving this three stars instead of one (and also why I am not returning the product) is that the ball part of the gag is really very incredible. I've decided to toss out the silicone strap and just use a couple of shoelaces instead (very sexy, I know). In conclusion, if you need an inexpensive ball-gag this is the way to go, as long as you replace that terrible strap.
