These May Just not be for Me.
This is a good toy, but should not be used by those who can not tolerate pain. I was under the impression that it would only be a slight amount of pain when it turned out that we were not ready for the amount that these clamps provided. In the right hands, I'm sure this is great, but for me, it's just not my thing.

Pros
Good vibration, strong clamps, easy controller
Cons
Terrible color, may be too tight for some.
Me and my girlfriend have always enjoyed some of the lighter side of BDSM. Spanking, choking, and nipple pinching were fairly common occurrences. Well when I saw these vibrating nipple clamps, I thought we should give it a try since we are trying to broaden our sexual adventures.
When the toy first arrived I opened the shipping box to find that the packaging had already been opened. I got rather angry thinking that a previously opened or even used toy had been sent to me. I then realized that the way it was packaged caused the plastic to bend and cause the box to pop open on its own. The box for it is a standard clear folding plastic container. This is not a very discreet box since the toy is on display and is very obvious as to what it is.
After opening the container, I found a controller with a heart shaped sliding toggle and two plastic bullet with clamps on the ends of them. The clamps have screws that protrude from the sides. These are used to adjust how tightly the clamps will attach. The whole toy came in the color ivory. I'm personally not a fan of the "ivory" color that it came in. It looks almost like medical equipment with that color. It does not look very sexy at all.
Well, I put two AA batteries into it and turned it on. The vibrations are not as strong as many bullets, but this is meant for the nipples, so I figured it doesn't need to vibrate that much. At the time I opened them, my girlfriend (the intended user) was not around, so my curiosity kicked in. I removed my shirt and attached the first clamp. OUCH! I quickly realized that the clamps hurt me a lot. I tried to adjust the clamps so that they would not be as tight but I ran into problems doing that. At the point were the pain was just bearable, the clamps would fall off as soon as the vibrations started. I gave up this endeavor chalking it up to my smaller male nipples.
When my girlfriend finally arrived, she was more than excited to try them. I had left the clamps on the position that I had tried them on. She immediately took them off. It was too painful for her to use them. When we eventually found that perfect setting, everything seemed alright. The vibrations were going and the clamps were staying on. Well, my girlfriend said that she wasn't feeling the vibrations very much, and this was with it turned all the way up. Soon after this they feel off.
What we learned was that this is meant more for people with nipple clamp experience. Neither her nor I could stand to keep them on for more than a few minutes. I'm sure if we spent enough time trying, we would find something that worked through trial and error, but we simply did not have the patience.
While giving this toy a small cleaning, I found that the rubber covers on the clamps come off to reveal gator clips. This was slightly intimidating since it did have the ridged teeth on the end of the clamp. This seems like it may be slightly dangerous, especially if you are using them in a poorly lit environment.
Overall, this is a fairly good toy, it just doesn't seem like me or my girlfriend really wanted the level of pain that it provides. The vibration was nice, but since neither one of us could truly clamp them down, it just caused more problems.

how do you clean the toy? how big is it? is it appropriate for travel or is it best left at home? would you recommend this for advanced BDSM players, or should they avoid it all together? thanks for the review

You're right, they do look a little medical. Good job outlining why these didn't work for you but might work for those who have a little more nipple play experience, and thanks for trying them on both sexes!

Thank you for the review, some things you may want to consider next time: How do you store and clean the toy? What are the dimensions? How heavy is it?

Thank you

Hmm...I actually kind of dig the "medical" look of these, now that I think about it. The execution sounds so poor though, that I think I'll stay clear. Thanks for your review!
