The Sex and Mischief Beginners Handcuffs are made by the Sportsheets company. I really love their company and will continue to love them. They make great products, but this one is lacking. It is great for beginners, but doesn't hold up to rougher play at all. They are very soft but don't really hold up. I used this product only twice and they are already tearing, unfortunately. I really wanted to love these handcuffs but I wish they were a bit sturdier.

These cuffs will work for beginners that just want some cute foreplay and not rough play. If you use them too strongly, they will rip in places and won't be able to function properly.

One of the good things about this product is that it is visually appealing. I wish that I had just hung this up on my wall and looked at it. It is soft to wear for light play but, as I said before, it doesn't hold up.

This is definitely for light restraint play.

My opinion of the design is just okay. It is pretty plain and has no real pizzazz. These are very simple and plain handcuffs. For the price, it is a great bargain. I want to really say that these handcuffs were made with love and well made, but I would be lying. I am not cutting down this product, but it really is lacking in that field. I was hoping for a lot more.

The material is soft and the outside of the handcuff is a bit scratchy. It fits most wrists and ankles. It could be a little tighter on the wrists because it does run a bit big. You can try to fix that, though.

It smells like the material in a sea tbelt, if that makes sense. I didn't taste this product. It feels nice, but it could use a bit more love when it was made.

It is made out of Polyester. Polyester has low absorbency. It is combustible, but it tends to shrink away from flames and often self-extinguishes. The metal that connects the cuffs is sturdy. That is always a plus. It did rip the cuffs, though.

The safety rating of this product is a 9. It is also 14" in length and 2" wide, with swivel clips and Velcro closures.

I was expecting much more from these cuffs because I really do love the Sportsheets company. It didn't hold up to my expectations, unfortunately. It is great for beginners, but no one else. For even a little bit of rough play, it doesn't remain intact. The material rips and the metal bends. I guess I may have used this product a little bit too hard, but it is very comfortable. It didn't leave any marks on my wrists or ankles. Beginners will love that it doesn't leave any marks when you pull at the cuffs.

To take care of this product, unhook the metal that connects the handcuffs. Polyester may be hand-washed in tepid water with the addition of gentle detergent. It can be ironed at low temperatures, stands up to abrasion and wears well.

I personally store this in my toy chest. It is small and doesn't take up a lot of room at all. I was hoping to use these cuffs more but I may have to try to use them for some lighter play.

The packaging is not discreet at all. It has a young woman on the front who is naked and is wearing the cuffs. She does look extremely cute, but the box is very revealing. Personally, I threw the box away because it was bulky and I didn't really want anyone to know that I had cuffs like these.

It didn't have many instructions at all, but you don't really need instructions for handcuffs. They are pretty self-explanatory.
