Doc Johnson went above and beyond with these Black Rose Four-Way Foreplay cuffs. With two wrist cuffs and two ankle cuffs, these restraints are comfortable and secure, not to mention absolutely beautiful. They can be used alone, attached to a bed post above your head, or used to strap you spread-eagle. Or, for the very adventurous, use the included set of O-rings to hog-tie your partner just about anyway you would like, and just imagine what erotic poses you can come up with.

Made well, with a strong velcro strap, yet beautiful in design, these cuffs are not too intimidating for the beginner, but also tough enough for the experienced to find enjoyment in their bondage.

Doc Johnson did a fantastic job with the design of this set; purple silk covered in black lace makes it look almost gothic, with a touch of dark beauty and flare. Although all four of the cuffs are the same size, two of them, those that I use on my wrists, have a small black rose at one edge, adding a touch of femininity.

The insides of the cuffs are lined in a velvet-like material that is very comfortable, even with extended wear. There is a slight padding, about a 1/4 inch thick, and even with a lot of pulling and tugging, the cuffs do not cut into the skin or leave marks around the edges.

Each cuff has a nylon strap that runs across the center, where the velcro attaches on each end. In the middle of this strap is an O-ring where the hasp is connected. This O-ring can also serve to tuck the excess velcro strap under, making it so your sub can't unstrap the cuffs on their own (unless you have the wrists hooked together, then, with some maneuvering, they could get themselves out). The velcro is good quality and does not come loose or weaken, allowing the cuffs to stay tight, and they will not stretch or slip off.

The hardware that holds the cuffs together consists of an O-ring with four short nylon straps, each with their own O-ring at the end, where the cuffs attach with their hasp. This, too, is strong and won't break even with a fight.

The cuffs will fit just about any "average" wearer, except those with extremely petite or overly large wrists and ankles.

I love this set, and in a short time, it has become my favorite set of cuffs to wear in the bedroom. Not only are they so pretty, but the comfort makes them great for a long play scene. The variety of uses is endless, and with the center hardware, you can come up with positions that will satisfy both your body and your eyes as you watch your slave squirm and wiggle, trying to get out with no avail.

They hold strong, no matter how much I pull or tug, which is oftentimes hard to find to come by unless you are dealing with leather.

Overall, there is nothing I don't like about these and how well they work.

If these happen to get dirty, which they shouldn't, simply wipe them with a damp cloth and let them air dry.

And be careful with the velcro. If it attaches to the lace, it does snag it just a bit. Nothing too extreme, and not really noticeable, but if it happens more than once or twice in the same spot, it does look a little frizzy.
