This chain tickler by Sportsheets is fabulous, and I am so glad I bought it right before it became discontinued. I have no idea why it became discontinued, because it has had such stellar reviews. I'm glad I got to it beforehand though! I had been eyeing it for the longest time without buying it. It is such a great toy, too.

This can be used for temperature play, texture play, or very light flogging or whipping. Due to the metal, and also how short the falls are, this really is not suitable for flogging or impact play.

I really like how this feels against my skin, particularly in more sensitive areas like breasts, thighs, stomach, back, and even on my clit! The coolness of the metal is a sensation I really like. I've always found cold things to be really stimulating and arousing, so this is perfect for me. If you prefer warm sensations though, you could also try warming up the metal since metal holds temperature so well.

Sportsheets is always a solid choice, and the chain tickler is no exception. It's quality, the falls won't be coming out any time soon, and the handle is bendy, so it won't snap even if it is sat on or otherwise abused.

The chains are just that--teensy chains. There are six of them. A couple are slightly uneven, but only be a quarter of an inch or so. The long handle on this is 15" long and the falls are 5", so it's about 20" long. I wish that the falls were longer. On the stock photo, it seems like they are, but for some reason, they are just so short, only about as long as my ipod! It's not worth knocking off a star, especially for such an excellent price, but I do wish they were longer. Perhaps it was an effort to reduce the change that people would use it as a flogger with such short falls.

It doesn't smell weird at all.

One reason I love this is that it's vegan! I love textures and sensual play, but I don't like not knowing where the feathers on ticklers come from. I know many are synthetic, but that is rarely indicated in the product description and it's not easy to tell without feeling them. This chain tickler can provide sensual play with a harder feel, which is really what I like anyway, with the added temperature play, my favorite!

It's made in the US if that matters to anyone!

I love this toy! It feels great. It definitely met my expectations, and possibly even exceeded them. I expected it to feel great with all the wonderful reviews, but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it would feel like. I still can't exactly, but I know I love it. If this touches my skin I'm instantly aroused.

My partner has been really into the idea of blindfolding lately, and we've been talking more and more about it. We've done it only once, though I've done it with other partners, and I think it can really heighten sensations and anticipation. I think this is the perfect toy to really get my partner hooked even though the enthusiasm hasn't always been there! I think this is going to quickly become one of those things that gets used every single time we have sex. Lube and a chain tickler.

This is pretty easy to care for. It should be stored in a dry place and should not be left wet. Some people have talked about putting this in hot or cold water, but I would rather put it in a warm bowl or pot with no water, or stick it in the freezer or near a window to cool it down or heat it up. You just never know and with a toy this good, no one wants to risk rust! The handle would easily be wiped down. The metal could be cleaned with a toy wipe or with soap and water but it should be immediately dried. If I have to clean this really intensely in water sometime, I might stick it in some old rice so it will absorb the water right out of it.

The package was just a little piece of very thick paper with a couple and the Sportsheets name and the name of the toy. On the back there are "sexy hints," which are just a few suggestions on how to use the toy, including temperature play and creating words with the falls on your partner's skin and making them guess what it says.

I love this toy and am saddened that it is discontinued because even though I have it, lots of other people could benefit from this, and it is so cheap! Why, Eden, why?
