Rubber tickler review

When I received the Pink Rubber Tickler by Sportsheets, I was curious to see what it felt like. I gently ran the ends of the tickler slowly across the back of my neck and arms. It tickled, but it reminded me of the rubber cleaners in a drive thru carwash.
After looking at the tickler some more, I was reminded of a childhood toy. I sat for a while trying to remember the name of the toy, but I came up with nothing other than "that ball with all of the rubber strings attached to it." Maybe it is just me, I thought; so I surprised my lover later that night by pulling the rubber body tickler out of the drawer next to my bed. I ran the tickler across his face, neck, chest, and other sensitive areas. He seemed to enjoy it, but I found it works just as good if not better than a whip. It was dark, so he could not see that the tickler was rubber; therefore, he had no preconceived thoughts about the toy.
Attached to the wand is a card with sexy hints on different ways to use the tickler. A few of the hints are the romantic spelling bee and the violin bow. The romantic spelling bee game sounded the most enticing to me. The next night, I blindfolded my lover and ran the ends of the tickler across his back and had him guess what I was spelling. Our game did not last long because when it was my turn to guess, our spelling bee turned into an intimate massage. The durable wand of the Sportsheets tickler turns out to be a great massage tool just as the violin bow hint suggested. The massage oils helped the wand roll smoothly back and forth across my back.
Overall, I give this product two stars. The rubber strings are not aesthetically or physically pleasing for me. When using this toy, the strings easily get tangled but come out if you run your fingers through them. I do, however, like that the toy came with a sexy hints card. For lovers who lack creativity, it is a great tool to get their imaginations going. This product is also easy to clean. I used soap and hot water to clean the massage oils off the wand and the tickling strings. Be sure to store this in a clean spot because the rubber strings attract dirt easily.

Follow-up commentary
28 months after original review
I had my tickler for about two months before I threw it away. The top of the toy with the rubber ticklers broke off and the strings kept coming off. I would have understood this if I had used it a lot but the truth is I used it maybe twice after writing my first review. This product is better fit for a gag gift or if you only intend to use it for 1-3 uses.

If I remember correctly it was called a Koosh ball :)

For something so simple it's surprising they managed to get it wrong.
