This fur paddle is excellent for impact play beginners such as myself. I have always gone light on the bondage, but spanking is just too much fun. The man and I decided to try this one out, and it would be the first thing aside from his hand that we would be trying out for impact play. I was a little bit nervous about getting a paddle, but the fur side of this one made it seem like a great idea, because it could be fairly gentle. It is the perfect beginner's spanking toy.

This paddle is 14.5" from end to end, and about 3" wide. I was glad to see that neither the fur or leather are real, and no animals were harmed in the making of this toy! The rounded handle and thick, smooth leather provide an excellent grip for the user of the toy. The leather feels cool to the touch, even after multiple spankings, and can feel soothing when used gently. Thick stitches hold the two straps of leather together with support in between, and hold the fur in place on top. After using the toy vigorously, there was no evidence of loose stitches, or of loose fur. I was glad to see that there wasn't shedded fur all over the hotel bed, as that might be difficult to explain! Overall, this is a very well made toy, and stands up well to use.

This toy is absolutely perfect. The soft, furry side delivers the gentlest of spanks. It's perfect for teasing, which is how we use it. He'll be rubbing me gently with the soft side and then quickly flip it over and spank me hard when I don't expect it. This kind of play is surprisingly incredibly fun, and absolutely delicious. I love the feel of the leather side, and it delivers quite the bite. It has a bit of a sting when used with force, but can definitely be toned down depending on the preference of the user. Not everybody wants to not be able to sit down, I guess.

When the paddle arrived, the only packaging it had was a small 'Sportsheets' tag on the rope handle. It smelled like clean leather, and already looked fun to try out. I packed it away in my overnight bag, as we were headed to a hotel for a weekend away. I couldn't wait to try it out! While we were away, we tried it out and both loved it! In the confusion of checking out of our hotel room, the paddle got left behind. I didn't realize it until a few days later, and I was much too shy to call and ask about it, so we chalked that one up as a loss. That's why I didn't provide any pictures with the review. However, now we know that spanking and impact play are definite wins, and will absolutely be buying more impact toys in the future!
