The Sutra Chainlink Cuffs are intuitively designed with you (the user) in mind. The cuffs consist of two rectangular cuts of fabric. Each cuff is 6" long, and 2 3/4" wide. The tops of them have a suede base, with a decorative oval piece of silk sewn carefully on top. The silk piece acts as the base of the restraints, connecting the chain link on one end, and a metal clasp on the other.The reverse, or underside, of the cuffs is a patterned silk. The two chains leading off from either cuff connect in the middle in a 6 3/4" long by 1" wide strip of silk. In total unfastened length, clasps included, the Sutra Chainlink Cuffs are 26 1/2" long. The cuffs are fully adjustable, and can be either quite snug, or loose, depending upon preference. They will fit a wide variety of sizes, and appeal to many different tastes.

The Sutra Chainlink Cuffs perform remarkably well. They are quick and easy to put on or remove. The wearer may even be able to fasten them themselves! They are much harder to remove by yourself, however, leaving the control where it should lie: in your partner's hands. As mentioned above, these cuffs are not intended for heavy, rough play, but should stand up to most light to moderate activity. They balance perfectly restriction and freedom, allowing the wearer a wider range of motion than most restraints would. Bound, but with the option to touch and feel as much as your partner allows you. With too much motion, however, (say a hand job) the metal chains will begin to clink together, which could be either arousing or hilarious, depending on your personality.

Silk may be hand washed, but suede can be damaged by water, so that's out of the question. The best option to clean these would probably be to take them to a dry cleaners (as is suggested on the packaging). If you would prefer not taking your handcuffs to the dry cleaner, cleaning the suede with a special suede cleaner and spot-cleaning the silk is another option. Because of the difficulty in cleaning this product, it is highly recommended that you treat it well and do your best not to get the cuffs dirty. Store in a clean, dry place, away from the light.
