Soft and Inexpensive!
I would recommend this to someone who was new to Shibari for something to start out with. I would not recommend this so much to those rope snobs out there. (Like I'm becoming.)

Pros
Inexpensive
Great Colors
Great Colors
Cons
Not hemp or jute
I picked up 2 colors of this rope: purple and black. The colors on them are great! This is a cotton rope that is rather soft but can give you a pretty decent burn; I figured that out the hard way.
It comes in a hank that is 32' long. I cut one of mine up in to 2 16' lengths and left one the stock length. This way lets me have a couple of shorter lengths to use for arm/feet binds or smaller body pieces. This rope, being cotton, cut very well. If you are doing any heavy rope bondage, I suggest getting a pair of blunt tipped shears just in case.
I am not a rope snob (I'm getting there), but I'm sure the rope snobs out there probably wouldn't like this rope as much as I do. While it is soft, it's just not up there with treated hemp or jute. It has no real noticeable smell coming out of its packaging which is kinda nice. I kept the packaging for a little while until I decided how to store the rope. It's a great harder plastic box with inserts that is great for keeping the rope in or maybe of of your other toys! I do recommend whipping (tying off the ends or securing them in some way) I sewed the ends with contrasting thread. If you don't, the ends will fray on you. It seems that it would fray kinda easily.
Something else I would like to note: while this hasn't happened to me yet, it has happened to friends of mine. Because this rope is cotton, it's absorbent and therefore, take special care to keep it clean. I haven't really experimented with cleaning it yet, but I would suggest hand washing it with a gentle detergent or shampoo and rinsing it out very well and letting it air dry. Body oils and sweat will get into it and can cause it to smell, and well, I don't know anyone who wants to play with stinky rope.
I keep my rope daisy chained and in my toy bag; I suggest something similar for ease of use the next time. A friend of mine keeps his hung up on hooks on his wall in his dungeon. It is a great storage idea if it's available to you.
I look forward to lots more play time with my rope and have even considered picking up some more of this stuff in other colors! All in all, I love it.

Follow-up commentary

I still love this rope quite a bit. I have gotten a lot of use out of it since I first bought it, and it's still holding up quite well. I will totally end up purchasing more later on!
