As a nice entry level whip, I would consider this more a toy than a serious pain inducer. The fluffy tickle side is nice for those who like that, but for me, I like the sting a little more. Even when really launched with force, the sting is minor.

As a light play toy, the construction is fine; there are rubber stingers and a plastic handle with feathers on the tickler end. It's easy to clean, but not heavy duty, so don't expect it to stand up to too much vigor.

As a whip, the rubber falls (or stingers) provide a nice mild sting. You really need to crack this one hard to bring up a red mark, or push that limit from a little sting to a pleasurable smack! For those curious about the world of spanking and Dom/Sub this is a nice way to ease into things without going too far to start with.
