I really like this little collar, but there was one drawback to it. It runs small in size, and I could barely wear it. Now that is only an issue if you have a large neck (like I do apparently). It is a well constructed collar, with soft leather, and beautifully set gems that are a perfect pink. I really am impressed by it. It was the perfect little princess collar. I have the black and pink instead of the all pink, just because of a preference. The stones (21 of them) are set on the leather with a silver toned finding, the buckle is also the same silver tone. I really was happy with the color of the stones, very pale pink almost baby pink.

The buckle is pretty standard, non-locking and small (about 1 inch long x 3/8s inch wide). The overall length of the collar is 16.5 inches, with the tightest setting being 12.5 inches, and the loosest right around 14.5 inches. This was too small and tight for me to be comfortable, but there is about another inch that you could add a hole to for a better fit. Like I said, it really is a beautiful piece that I am very much in love with. It just doesn't work well for me for my own use, hopefully I will find a use in the future for it.

As far as care goes, I honestly do not know a lot about leather care. But I would think a fairly basic regiment of keeping it out of the sun so it doesn't dry out, and keeping it clean by wiping it with a damp cloth would do. I have been keeping mine on my bed side table as to ponder what to do with it next, who I should pass it on to. Hopefully someone will fall just as deeply in love with it as I have.

I really love the look of this collar, but the fact of the matter is that it is just too small for my neck; I feel like I am choking and not in a sexy kind of way. Beautiful piece, just not for me.
