These cuffs are so comfy and easy to use. I have other cuffs that look a little sexier but I always end up using these because they are so simple. And frankly, when you're in the mood and if you're doing things right, a little pink velcro isn't even noticeable. They fold up pretty small and don't have any metal so they are very easy to travel with - I brought them on my honeymoon! While I'm not a huge fan of the pink color, it isn't so bad. I do wish it came in other colors, though. It doesn't have to be boring standard black ... just not pink.

When we're done and we just want to get to snuggling, there's no fighting with clasps or buckles. That's my main beef with a lot of bondage gear. While the velcro noise isn't really sexy or anything, it can provide a bit of comic relief after some intense activity. And the nylon fabric is really soft and comfortable, without the hard edges of stiff or new leather, so they don't hurt to strain against. The fake fur stuff against your skin is really soft, too. I know some people think BDSM stuff should be all pain all the time, and that can put off some people or make them afraid to try things. I like pain but I don't like being uncomfortable. That is what I love so much about these cuffs; they are comfortable in every way. That way, you can focus on the good stuff without that little voice in the back of your mind going "oh lord that is digging into my wrist!"

The tethers are long enough for tying to each other, other body parts, or furniture without difficulty. They are just that right material and size that a sturdy knot can be made (it doesn't fall apart easily, like with a really stiff rope or ribbon) but it isn't impossible to get apart (like with really thin rope or ribbon, or silk scarves). This is helpful if you're going to be traveling with them - they can be used on pretty much any piece of (sturdy) furniture.
