Sexy Restraint and Fashion Accessory
The Elastabind is great for light bondage place. It doesn't restrain the wearer much but it gives the illusion of restraint and it's comfortable and looks great on. It's hard to complain about an item that pretty much does exactly what it says it does.

Pros
Looks good on, fits many sizes, good for light bondage
Cons
Not really a corset, just laced.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Elastabind Corset Restraint by Sportsheets. I ordered it on a whim. It looked like fun, but being a plus size, I figured there was no way it would actually fit. It certainly doesn’t look on me, the way it does on the model but it fits and is quite fun!
Like most of the other Sportsheets items I’ve ordered, this item comes in a basic cardboard box with the name of the item and some pictures. It’s not exactly discreet but it is fairly minimal packaging which I always appreciate.
The Elastabind corset restraint is very basically, a large piece of elastic with faux leather on each end. The ends are set with rivets that can be laced like a corset. The belt comes with a black cord to be used for lacing thought you could use your own narrow cord if you wanted a different look or color.
It’s important to note that while this can be laced like a corset, it is not in fact a corset in any way. Depending on your size, it will cinch your body but it is not boned or structured like a corset. So if you are looking for something with more structure or real cinching, keep looking.
On either side of the belt are the wrist restraints. The restraints are just elastic loops about the same width as the elastic that makes up the belt. They are sewn on nice and strong but there is no way to loosen or tighten them. They are fairly small to begin with so even those with small wrists will be somewhat restrained in them.
These are what I like to call fantasy restraints though. They basically work on the honor system. You get into them by sliding your hand through and could therefore get out by just yanking your hand out. So these are not great for more serious bondage but they are fun for beginners or those who want the fantasy and feel of bondage without the reality of it. I will say that once you’ve gotten both hands in the restraints, it does take some work to free yourself, I found it easier to do with assistance.
Be warned, these restraints are tight if you have a thicker wrist. My wrists are quiet chubby and I have a hard time getting into the restraints, at first I didn’t think I’d be able to do but some squirming and twisting got me into them eventually. If you have a wider wrist it will help a lot to have a partner hold them steady and open for you while you put your hand through. Just be sure to be mindful of ant numbness or tingling in the hands or fingers and remove the cuffs promptly if you feel any.
My favorite thing to do with this item is actually to wear it inside out with the cuffs tucked in as just a belt. I wear it up high, just under my breasts to create an empire waist look. I get just enough cinch from it to lift my boobs a little and the lacing and patent leather look works well for a costume. It can also be worn with the restraints and lacing towards the front or the back depending on how much or how little control the wearer wants over the situation!
The description says patent leather but I’m relatively sure it’s not real leather. So the whole thing is most likely synthetic materials. I don’t know exactly what’s indicated but I’ve had good luck with hand washing in cool water and hanging to dry.
