These handcuffs are super versatile and can be used on almost any flat surface. They are a bit rough on the wrists when dry, but in water they are pretty comfortable. These are a surefire fit for my toy box, and one of my favorite pairs of cuffs. They may not be sturdy enough for everyone, but suited me fine.

Pros
waterproof, multi-surface, adjustable, easy to clean, doesn't pop off easily, pretty!
Cons
not weight bearing, rough on skin, slides around easily.
These handcuffs performed a lot better than I had initially hoped. They were used against a mirror, in the shower, and on the headboard. They were a nice addition to shower play, though. Especially when used alongside a detachable shower head that they can't easily squirm away from. They slid around a bit with the water, but didn't pop off easily.
In a BDSM sense, the loss of control was specifically enchanting for my partner and I. They're sturdy enough for couples looking to add something new to their sex life, but probably won't hold up well to those who play on the rough side. But so long as the submissive's wrists are spread, there is difficulty getting the strength to pop the cuffs.
I think the cuffs are better suited for BDSM scenes, and specifically kink play. They didn't hold up well for penetrative sex in the shower, though oral was a fun experience for the both of us. Since their hands were bound, they couldn't wrap their fingers in my hair. (A sensation that they ADORE)
The handcuffs themselves are made from a water resistant neoprene, with Velcro to bind wrists or small ankles. Neoprene is a synthetic fabric that is resistant to oil, extreme heat and weathering. It is the same material used to make wetsuits, so the material is more than suitable for bathtub/shower/pool play. The fact that it is oil proof is also particularly handy, since the oils in your skin won't have an effect on the neoprene. The edge of the neoprene cuff are not sealed, so in the long run I might have to worry about the edges fraying. But after two months of occasional use, they still look good as new. The cuffs had a slight new-plastic odor; which quickly disappeared once removed from the box.
Here's how the numbers break down.
The handcuff itself is eleven inches long and two inches wide. The middle of the cuff has an inch wide strip of 'soft' Velcro spanning its length, and a five inch strip of one inch wide 'rough' Velcro for attaching. The cuff is attached to the suction cup by an inch wide strip of woven fabric. (Not unlike that of a seat belt) There is no way to remove the cuff from the suction cup, short of busting out a pair of scissors. The suction cup has a diameter of about 3 inches, with a small tab to help you remove it from surfaces.
Visually, I love looking at these cuffs. The matte black of the Velcro mixed with the indigo/purple of the neoprene is really pretty to look at. I think the colors work well together.
The handcuffs are excellent for a bit of light bondage. Although they are intended for water use, the cuffs will attach nicely to any smooth surface. (Such as a marble counter top, or the kitchen table) They are very lightweight, and can easily be shoved into a purse or gym bag for easy transport.
These cuffs are NOT weight bearing. They're able to help if your partner gets weak in the knees while standing, but they can't be expected to hold you up entirely. That being said, when in use completely underwater, they tend to slip and slide around a bit.
When used in water, there is almost no discomfort. Dry cuffs, however, cause the skin to chaff after extended, rough use (Over say.. 30 minutes of play) I docked a star for this, since it really did impede my enjoyment of these as a universal set of handcuffs.
Although the material is pretty much waterproof, soap and shampoo and chlorine will do gross things to the material with time. I rinse the cuffs off thoroughly after use, and then clean them with rubbing alcohol. (Just to kill any lingering bacteria) You could always hand wash them with mild dish soap and hot water. Just make sure to get all the soap off before drying.
The box the cuffs come in is not discreet. There is a photograph of a couple using the handcuffs, although strategically placed foam covers the model, while the verse side has a woman with one hand bound. The box boasts that their product works on most smooth surfaces, and is used for restraint in the shower or bath. It also lists that the handcuffs are made of neoprene and Velcro and are attached to a large suction cup.
HOWEVER! The box that Eden ships out is completely discreet. It comes packaged in a plain brown box with plain brown tape. The 'from' label says 'Web Merchants' to keep the contents discreet.
I recycled the box after opening. I already have a cloth bag for my fabric/kinky items, so I didn't need a storage container for them. That being said, the box is a bit big for the contents. I would guess that most toy boxes would have room for the entire shebang.

Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
These cups hold up nicely to use. I've been using them sporadically for a bit over two months, and they still look as new as they did when they arrived. I have noticed that they slip if they're attached to a wet surface, so in terms of spontaneous, I'm a bit disappointed. (But in reality, that'll be a problem I have with anything that can be used in water.)
I would still HIGHLY recommend these cuffs.
