Rubberelly, Rubberelly, night and day it's Rubberelly...
The Rubberella is an intense rubber flogger that's waterproof and easily portable. It gives a hard, stingy hit, and is fairly easy to control once you get used to the 'soft' handle.

Pros
Waterproof, flexible, stingy, lightweight, compact.
Cons
None
The Rubberella flogger by Leatherbeaten is just what you’d expect: a flogger, made out of rubber. I was initially a little afraid that it would be smelly, like some rubber products can be, but it only has a faint scent.
The entire flogger is soft, bendable, foldable rubber. It’s definitely an adjustment from using a flogger with a hard handle, but once I was used to the slightly different swing it was fine. I think making the handle ‘soft’ adds to this particular flogger – you could stick this thing in your pocket and take it wherever, especially since it’s waterproof. I imagine it would hurt even more while wet. The falls are flat and wide, and don't tangle up in each other or clump too much when you hit. If you turn the flogger upside down to look at how they're connected, it looks like an octopus; each fall has its own little respective spot to reach out and grab you from.
When I used this on my (male) friend, he really enjoyed it. He said that it hurt quite a bit, but that it was definitely a good kind of pain. He liked that it gave two different sensations – one from hitting with the length of the flogger (a thuddy sensation with a sting at the end), and one from hitting with just the tips (an intense stinging sensation). He also liked that it left him red, with small welts and a slight after-burn, but no blood or scratches. I thought he would like it mostly on his the back, but he like it equally well on the pecs and abs. He wanted to take it home with him.
When I had the flogger used on me… well, it turned me into a big quivering puddle of orgasmic goo. It hurt. A lot. But it was that good, yummy burn! The tips of the falls are cut straight instead of diagonally, so there’s no slashing/scratching/cutting. My guy worked me over for an extended period in several different positions with several different strokes all over my body. I especially liked it on the mid-back and ass, but it all felt great. I gasped a few times in surprise but only had too much pain once, when he hit just right on my bum and the tip wrapped around and flicked that sensitive area on the back of the thigh – that was not a pleasant sensation. I stayed pinkish reddish for a while afterward, but had no lasting marks, blood, or bruising.
My partner was worried about hurting me or hitting me too hard with this flogger. Once he got the hang of it, he was able to hit me fairly hard without thinking he was going to cut me in half. He said that he found it easy to use, effective, looked good, and still durable. His only complaint was that he couldn’t get it to make a cool ‘whoosh’ or snapping sound like he can with leather floggers (what can I say – whenever I’m holding a whip, I want to be Indiana Jones, too!). It did make a snapping sound on impact, though (so if you're trying to be discrete turn on some industrial music or make sure the roomies are out).
I would recommend being extra-careful with this flogger. It’s made to hurt. It’s rubber, so it’s harder than leather floggers and packs a much harder punch while being deceptively lighter. Definitely try it out on your own arm, leg, and sensitive areas before ever using it on a partner. I’m sure this thing could draw blood if you hit really hard. And watch out for that wrap-around! I would also suggest that if you’re new to floggers, get a leather (or other softer material) one first. This flogger is intense, and while I love it and want to spend every second under it, it’s probably not for beginners. You need to have good communication between all parties while using this, too.
Plus, it's flexible enough that you can even hit yourself with it. I'd be flogging away at myself right now if it didn't impede my whole 'typing the review' thing.
To clean, just wipe down with soap and water. If you get your silicone or water-based lubes on this toy it'll be fine, but oil-based could cause problems. Rubber is porous and will hold germs, so keep that in mind if you decide to use this toy on someone else since it can't be sterilized.
I really love this flogger. It’s built simply, but it’s built well.

Experience
For the record: if you hit through a shirt it still leaves a little welt and a big pink splotch. Also, my male friend made a delicious-looking :O face when hit through his shirt.
Can be used lightly on the breasts, stomach, pecs, etc. Neither of my whip-ees would let me near their nipples, though.
