This product is made of Japanese silk that is braided into a rope. This allows it to easily compress and expand, depending on for what purpose they are needed. Since it is silk, it helps prevent getting rope burns.

Performance

The ropes work great for the purpose for which they are designed - restraining and limiting movement of the appendages. However, one of the drawbacks to this is that it is not as secure as I would like it to be.
