Pretty in pink, pathetic in play
Although they look and sound cute enough, these cuffs can be a danger for submissives due to poor cut, quality, and wear. Taking their quality into consideration, they are also extremely overpriced and are too big to fit the 'cute' quality that they're trying to ascribe to. The functional use of these cuffs can lead to injury and I would warn those seeking to use a pair of cuffs in any kind of bondage or suspension play to look elsewhere.

Pros
Cute.
Cons
Bad fit, uncomfortable, possible injuries.
Although when I bought them I was extremely excited, I was slightly disappointed when I received these cute, seemingly dainty cuffs in the mail. Their pastel pink coloring is obviously geared toward females, but these cuffs are at best slightly awkward and don't quite meet my expectations.
First of all, I was shocked by how wide they are. It's almost impossible to fit them over just the wrist; they end up sliding forward over the heel of the hand no matter what you do. This is very uncomfortable and isn't visually appealing at all, and the lack of lining inside the cuffs made them very easy to chafe with.
Adding to that, they're very tough, and don't bend well with the flexibility of the wrist, even after being wiped down twice with extra-virgin olive oil. This can lead to very unsafe play conditions; if the sub's hands aren't getting blood or are twisted against the leather the wrong way, the lack of give in the material can result in a lot of really bad injuries. I know that I wouldn't want to use these on my pet; a broken wrist isn't worth any cuteness they may add to the scene.
Another major problem is the fit. They're far too long for most feminine wrists; although great for plus-sized women (which they aren't targeted at directly) when I tried to put these on a female sub's wrists, it left far too much wiggle room for comfort or safety. The straps, which were long and didn't quite fit into the loops, were extremely hard to pull tight thanks to the uneven cut of the band; the cuff didn't even overlap properly for a snug fit on the last two holes. Not to mention that the hard, rough insides scraped against her skin very uncomfortably and the huge o-rings ended up pulling the cuffs around so that the rings pointed downward, rather than laying at the top of the wrist like I wanted them to.
While these seem to be mostly aesthetic problems, I must stress once again that these issues make the cuffs unsafe for use in play. Although they're a great addition to a fetish costume to be worn for cosplay or to a meetup, they're NOT safe for most women to use in actual play conditions from what I've experienced.

Thank you for viewing Pretty in pink wrist cuffs – light bdsm kit review page!
Suspension cuffs are a different breed. They need to be really study and have extra provisions, a thick strong "tab" to support the wrist or ankle and strength. As you said, trying suspension with the wrong cuffs could be very dangerous.
Thank you for the review. I will be leaving these out of our next order.
Too bad, they are cute. But, I can never decide between "cute" and "traditional black and studded" for this stuff.
Also, I'm really petite and these are just too thick to be comfortable.
