Fetish Fantasy Velvet Lover’s Paddle

This one looks great at first, but it really doesn’t hold up or stand up to any heavy play I would definitively say that it is a novelty. I had to get it since it was red and hey it was also free! It is a very non intimidating looking BDSM beginner toy. Persons with experience in impact play would be very disappointed.

The paddle is more of a slapper than a paddle, it has a split end that gives the extra slap when you hit with it. It is really best for beginners and for someone who want’s it for it’s looks only. It is very flexible and somewhat flimsy. It doesn’t say on the product information what the inner core is made of but it seems to have a narrow plastic type material with cardboard making up the main part. It is then covered in vinyl and a velvety type of material on the end.

The paddle is a total of 12 inches long with the slapper portion being 7 inches long and the handle 5 inches. It is approximately 3 inches across on the slapper portion and tapers down to the handle. It has the heart cut out. Now normally the cut outs in this type of product would cut down on windage and make it hit harder since it has no wind resistance but on this paddle it is really just for looks. It really doesn’t make much of a whoosh sound as it travels through the air.

This one you have to be careful with as the velvet finish starts to come off and it collects lint and other pieces of stuff. I like to store my paddles between the mattress and box spring but I cannot do that with this one as it looses pieces when you slide it in the crack. It looks good hanging on the wall and it has the piece of vinyl that will act as a hanger on the end. It would be very difficult to clean if you get secretions or fluids on it. You could try to wash it up with a damp wash cloth. I haven’t needed to clean it at this time.

This looks good for photo props and for very new beginners or even for a Bachelorette party gift. I wouldn’t say that it is useful as a paddle.

This one just isn't good for much more than a prop or a piece of art work. It doesn't stand up and the little red fuzz comes off and gets all over the place. Mine made it to the trash. would suggest to look for a higher quality paddle.
