Manufactured by Sportsheets, The Ostrich Feather comes in what I'll describe as three parts, the handle, the arm, and the feathers. The handle is about 3.5 inches long and made of soft black plastic but is really just a covering over the arm. The arm is 15.5 inches of flexible black plastic.

The feathers are over 12 inches, beautiful, fluttery, and soft as a whisper. There are two feathers, one on top of the other. I've used it many times and never noticed any smell. I've also never lost a feather or had any shedding.

The Ostrich Feather also comes in six gorgeous colors, red, purple, blue, teal, burgundy, and black. Talk about eye candy! You'll be so turned on from all the sexy colors you might not make it to the bedroom.

This lovely lady is far more than just a pretty face or feather. One gentle flick across your cheek and she leaves you with promises to tip-toe your bidding across sensitive surfaces for plenty of time to come. That she does, and much more.

Her flexy arm also has a nice little sting to it when used on bottoms and the insides of thighs. When paired with a blindfold and a little bondage, this can really turn tricks on a persons mind when they expect one thing and receive another.

The feathers are so light and delicate that I would just avoid getting them wet for fear of them not ever being the same again. I can't imagine cleaning them in any way that would ever allow them the airy flow that they naturally have when brand new. So, keep the feathers clear of lube and body fluids.

As for the plastic arm and handle, just clean with a cloth covered in warm water and antibacterial soap or wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol.

I store mine in a case that I also store some canes in. I should keep it in a vase, but I like to keep all of my toys put away. I would suggest putting her somewhere flat where her feathers won't be disturbed or mushed.

When I first got this toy I used it when I was in very close physical proximity to my partner. I found that the length of the handle and even the length of the feathers bothered me. I've since then used the length to my advantage and stood up, moved around and been able to reach many areas of my partner's body while remaining in one place.

My suggestion would be that practice makes perfect!
