The spider gag is a unique item. It is a gag that is unique in that it is empty in the middle, allowing the wearer or a partner to place items in or out of the wearer's mouth (use your imagination as to what), and, because of the spider "legs," the o-ring of the gag cannot be shifted in the wearer's mouth. This makes the gag stable, unlike most o-ring gags.

The spider gag is a fun gag which still allows for oral sex, although it is far easier to engage in sex with a male than a female partner because the gag makes pressing the face against anything somewhat painful. The biggest con with the gag is that it can be somewhat painful. The pieces that fit into the mouth and against the face are all metal and, if worn for any significant period of time (the longest I've worn one was 45 minutes), can leave marks and almost wear through the mucous membranes of the inside of the mouth. For short-term wear however, the risks are minimal, but you need to be aware that this gag will leave marks at the corners of the mouth after wearing, so you won't want to wear it right before going out.

Like most gags, this gag will cause major drooling to occur, and swallowing is very difficult with this gag in place. A wearer should be aware of this before putting it on so drooling won't spoil any clothing, etc.

If you are looking for a gag that can be used while having oral sex, that can be worn securely, and you don't mind some discomfort while wearing it, then this gag is an excellent choice. However, if you just want a gag to quiet someone, then this gag is probably overkill and is not the best choice.

This gag is pretty good for short term use, but it does tire out the jaw muscles after a while. It's fun for short play sessions though and I definitely enjoy using it and recommend it for people who are into gags or who like humiliation play.
