Only Teased
I thought this might be an okay cheaper toy for some light impact or tickling, but it disappointed me in both respects. My hand completely dwarfs this toy, making getting a good grip for flogging very difficult. It didn't seem to do much to tickle me either, and I am actually quite the ticklish guy normally. Even if you are a beginner looking for a cheap intro flogger, I would recommend looking towards the Sex and Mischief line of cheap floggers for something that won't be frustrating to hold.

The Rubber Whip Junior seemed like a decent toy for a little light flogging, but its size just made it too difficult to wield properly. Holding this toy is very awkward. The handle is just too small for a larger male hand like mine to grip, making this small toy rather unwieldy. Getting the right angle and windup is a bit awkward to do when using this toy as a flogger, due to its lightness and small size.
I was able to get a light sting when using this flogger, but I found it wasn't really strong enough to leave anything more than a very faint red mark. If you are looking for something with enough heft to leave deep red marks or welts, give this toy a pass. That doesn't mean this toy is useless, though. There is a definite sting when this is used; it just wasn't as strong as I like my impact toys to be. I can see using this as a warm-up toy before stronger impact; granted the small handle doesn't make it too annoying to use for you. If all you want is a light sting, this toy might work out for you. Still, I might recommend something different with a longer handle. Take a look instead at the Sex and Mischief line of floggers. These might look a bit scary to some, but they are very light, cost only a few dollars more, and are in some ways even friendlier for newbies since they have a handle that will actually fit in most hands.
I tried using this to tickle with as well. My partner and I are both on the ticklish side but found this didn't really set off our ticklishness. It might be because the rubber falls are too heavy and packed together to get a light brushing sensation that makes me feel tickled. Either way, it didn't work out so well as a tickle toy either. I also didn't find it pleasant to drag over my or my partner's body to tease with. I wasn't unpleasant per se, but I just didn't find it particularly soft or luxurious enough to feel very good on my body.
This toy did not come in any packaging. Instead a tag is attached to a loop on the handle. This seems standard for cheap floggers. There is a very distinct smell of rubber when you put your nose right up to the falls, but I didn't notice this smell unless I put my nose right up to it. The falls seem pretty securely attached. I flogged with this and even tugged on the strings to see if anything would come loose, and everything stayed nicely in place. There is a loop attached to the handle to wrap around your hand, or hang it up with. I didn't find this loop made it any easier to hold, and I didn't find I needed to hang it. Tossing it in my toy box won't hurt the rubber falls. To wash this, I just used a damp cloth and antibacterial soap to wipe the rubber falls and handle. Unlike a leather flogger, rubber doesn't need any particular maintenance.
