This is a firm paddle best used by people who enjoy a more thuddy spanking experience. The holes in it offer slightly more sting, but not as much as a tawse or rubber paddle. It wouldn't be an unreasonable choice for a beginner, being as it can be used as light or hard, depending on what your lover enjoys. Advanced spankers may find this toy isn't really unique enough to be worthwhile.

The shape of this toy is quite nice. I have small hands, but still found the handle comfortable to wield. It's pretty well made. I don't see it falling apart anytime soon, but the suede does seem to fray a bit along the outside, making it look slightly ratty. It has a strong leather smell and feels like a thin wood center with a suede side, and a smooth leather side, stitched together. It does have the potential to leave marks, more likely bruises, if you use this harshly enough, but you'd have to really put your arm into it. Otherwise, it'll give a bottom a nice, rosy glow, but not much more.

This is a good paddle that is firm, sturdy, and wide, which made for some rosy asscheeks! The suede side was a bit softer and less loud, while the smooth leather side made an excellent smacking sound. The holes meant that there was potential for some pretty bruising if you swung the paddle with enough vigor, and I do mean vigor! We didn't go that far, preferring a more domestic, slow warm up, some hard smacks, and a cooldown. You can also try using it like a cane if you just use the edge as a striking toy. Obviously, aim for the thighs and ass, not the kidneys or bony areas. Start out slow, rubbing in the sensation with your hand or even alternating with hand spanking.

Due to this toy being leather, it can't be cleaned very easily, particularly the suede side. You're unlikely to draw blood, but you might get some juices on this toy, so you may want to keep it for one person in particular. After all that, it's easy to hang up thanks to the loop at the end. Easy storage at least!
