Not-So-Love Mask
The Love Mask is not all too great. The elastic is very tight and will not feel comfortable on a head much larger than 20 inches around. The satin does feel soft, though not soft enough to redeem the mask. The only good use of this mask would be in a suffocation fantasy involving a gag. Between the two, your lover would be blind, terrified, and unable to breathe.

Pros
pink, blocks vision, cheap
Cons
elastic is too tight and feels very cheap
First off, I’d like to say, if you do not have a tiny head, stop looking at the mask. It won’t fit. I bought this for the sole purpose of tickle-torturing my boyfriend, which now will have to wait until I get a better mask. My head is about 21 inches around and this offers me two choices: a smushed nose that is hard to breathe through or the ability to see everything even though I am wearing a mask. Pulling it to the point that I am sufficiently blindfolded means no breathing. To me, the mask is a bit tight. To my boyfriend, whose head is probably 25-26 inches around, the mask is painful and scary.
The mask I ordered is a light pink. It is made out of satin with thin elastic bands that go behind the head. The satin piece measures about 7.5 inches wide and about 3.5 inches tall. The elastic is about 11 inches long when it is not stretched, with each strip less than 1/4 of an inch wide. Of course, they put a tag on it, right on the inside near one of the seams for the elastic bands. The tag just says the mask is made in China, so I just cut mine out. The material feels pretty soft and has a nice shine to it, though I would imagine real silk would feel much softer. There is a very thin layer of padding between the two pieces of satin.
The packaging it came in is pretty simple. There is a thin piece of cardboard folded in half to make an envelope, with a clear plastic section over the mask. Unfortunately, it cannot be used to store the mask. I tried to get the mask without destroying the package, but the only way to actually get it out is to rip the cardboard all up.
I feel if they had made a little bit more definition for the nose area on the mask, it would be a lot better. I could put up with it being a bit too tight on me if it didn’t cover my nose as well as my eyes. Or maybe if it wasn’t so tight, I wouldn’t mind it covering my nose. I suppose either works.
Of course, I ended up spilling stuff on my Love Mask, including some lube from a bottle that exploded and an unknown gray smudge on the side that lies against my face. It didn’t really look like eye makeup, though I am not sure. I washed the mask in my sink with some soapy warm water and a wash cloth. Rubbing both stains got them out pretty easily. I just let it air dry between some towels.
Overall, I would definitely have to say you get what you pay for with this product. It isn’t great, but it doesn’t cost much. If you are looking for a good quality mask, I would definitely recommend looking at a different one.

Experience
I am pretty sure buying a cheap mask caused my boyfriend to be terrified of them. He gets visibly upset whenever I get the Love Mask out.
After I examined other masks, I found one that would be a much better choice, however, it does cost much more:
Classic blindfold with purple fur

Follow-up commentary

While this has held up well, I haven't really used it much. My boyfriend doesn't seem to like it at all and never seems compelled or anything to blindfold me. I'm probably going to buy a different one that fits a bit more comfortably.
