These have some serious quality issues. The metal in the lower portion is so thin and sharp that is actually cut my dominant's finger when he was trying to use these. One of the clamps came bent slightly so the nubs don't match up. The metal that makes up the entire clamp feels so thin I could crush it. All in all, I would not get this item. I would recommend normal alligator clamps that are weighted with a chain instead. It may malfunction right after you get it, and then you'll have alligator clamps by themselves anyway, so save your money for something you'll really enjoy.
