Mmmm...it Smells Like Leather and Roses!
This is a gorgeously sexy, high quality flogger with falls soft enough to be used as a tickler, yet strong enough to deliver a sting. It may take some practice for newbies to use and may not have enough of a bite for more advanced users, but if you give this flogger some time and practice, I'm sure anyone with the interest can find a spot for it in their play time (Well, aside from vegans, sorry guys).

Pros
Sexy smell, beautiful design, sounds great hitting flesh, soft leather, well made, feels awesome.
Cons
May be too long with not enough sting for some, cannot be sterilized, metal allergies beware.
This beautiful flogger came wrapped in a plastic bag with only a small tag with little information. The flogger smelled like leather and roses, right out of the bag; it was amazing! Upon inspection, I found that the "rose" smell was probably coming from the wooden pole used as the support for the handle. The smell faded quite a bit just from being left to air out; it's not overwhelmingly musky at all.
The tag has a picture of a woman on it holding the flogger in black and pink. On the back it reads:
Corset Bodice
The adornment of the laces through the grommets creates a dream of untieing (yes, this typo is printed) your lady's corset bodice this extrordinary (as is this one) piece will highlight any elegant evening.
Then it tells me that this was made in India, that the woman pictured is of legal age and that this is sold as a novelty item. I'm really only disappointed that there are no care instructions and that nobody spell checked the tag, but oh well.
Despite that, this is a very well-made item. The red leather is just about as red as in the picture and all the leather is extremely supple. There is a loop at the top for your wrist or hanging, which is made of two pieces of 1/2" wide red leather, single-stitched together. It hangs 6" and does not have finished edges (but they're not rough, either). The top of the handle is finished with black leather and a single, silver domed rivet that's about 1/4" in size. The handle is about 4.5" around and 11.25" in length. It's very comfortable to hold, though if you have metal allergies, I would pass on this flogger since it has metal pieces that I'm sure are not hypoallergenic. The handle is made of a piece of wood wrapped completely in black leather, then wrapped in red leather to leave about a 1/2" gap. The red leather "bodice" has finished edges on all sides, 15 grommets on each side of the gap, which is laced up with red nylon (I think it's nylon). It also has 3 extra grommets going around the top and bottom which just act as extra decoration. The leather is then single-stitched behind the grommets to give it a nice, clean border.
There are 12 falls, each one is 25" in length and about 1" around. They are each made of two strips of red leather and two strips of black that have been woven together. They are tied about 3" from the end with black cord to leave lots of soft tails at the end. Each of those is around 1/8" wide, shiny on one side and more suede on the other.
Not including the wrist loop, this flogger is 34"; that's pretty long. I'm 5'5" and if I have it at my hip, it almost hits the ground, so be aware of the fact that this is a long flogger. The length also means that it can be awkward to wield, especially if you're new to flogging or have short arms. That also means this isn't best suited for use during intercourse. That being said, the ends of the falls are soft enough to be used as a tickler and feel quite lovely.
As far as floggers and pain go, this one lands in the middle. It's not the most brutal thing on the market, but it's not the sweetest, either. It's not an item that is going to cause too much pain with little force, which is good for the novice users or anyone afraid of hurting their partner, but it does have the capability to leave you with lovely red streaks on your flesh if you want.
One of my favorite things about this flogger is the sounds it makes. It whips though the air and has a soft smack on the skin; it's very sexy.
Leather cannot be sterilized, so share this at your own risk. To clean, you can use special oil or soap for leather. You can use regular mild soap, but I can't promise that it won't strip some of the dyes and softness from your beautiful toy. Always make sure this is dry before storing, as leather can mold and metal can rust, and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. I keep mine hanging in the closet or next to the bed, but it can be tossed in a drawer with no issue.

Experience
My partner is an intermediate-novice in the realm of BDSM. He was a mite intimidated by this flogger, and his first reaction was a rather disconcerting, "Looks like it would hurt." His first attempt at wielding it was a total failure, but he's starting to get the hang of it; it just takes practice. The trajectory on this thing is awkward, but nothing that a few tries can't overcome. I am in love with the way this flogger feels on my skin; it stings but I don't feel like it's going to break me. The dyes haven't bled at all and nothing has fallen apart as of yet, but I'll get back to you in a few months to see how it holds up.

We don't use this a ton, but it has held up really well and it is still the most beautiful flogger I own.
