Mmmm...It hurts soooo good.
Great starter flogger for the budding Dominant or Submissive. Not intimidating at all. The material on this one can give you the sensation you want without it being overly painful like leather floggers or cat-o'-nine-tails.

Pros
Nice length handle, good weight and balance, great material choice for flogger strands
Cons
None
While living in Atlanta my hubby and I were introduced to BDSM from our love of hentai. While walking through Little Five Points one day, we came across this shop that specialized in BDSM gear. I thought I had died and gone to leather-bound heaven. While searching in this shop we found all manner of items such as restraints, riding crops, paddles, masks, ball gags, clothing, and...whips/floggers. They had leather, elastic cord, cat-o'-nine-tails, and rubber whips/floggers. They were all beautiful to me and I did not know which one to get first. But the one that called to me was a metal-handled black elastic cord whip that stung the back of my hand with the lightest flick of it. It came home with me that day (as well as a lovely little leather riding crop).
Now, after a few years of expanding my collection of BDSM gear, I came across a lovely clear-handled, pink rubber whip. I HAD to have it. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, it was being purchased. When I brought it home, I laid it out on the bed and stared at its lovely 22" length and couldn't wait to feel it warm my skin with each lash I knew the hubby was going to dole out.
The rubber strands on this whip are plentiful and they have a lot of give to them. Depending on how hard they are flicked, you get a light tingle on your skin or a full-on harsh stinging. Either way it's fun to me. If you are the whipper instead of the whippee, you will appreciate the fact that the black balls that are on each end provide a steady way for you to hold said flogger (since this really is a flogger and not a whip).
The strands on this are soft enough that you can flog or be flogged on your breasts, thighs, butt, genitals, and back and not have to worry about marks being made or any type of scarring taking place - another good reason why I suggest this one for beginners.
I know some floggers are made so that you can insert them into mouths, anuses, or vaginas, but this one is not. The balls on the end are wood, and I am not quite sure what the paint is made of. So to be on the safe side I would suggest that this not come in contact with any mucous membranes.
Cleaning this little bit of fun is easy. A damp wash cloth or paper towel will do on the handle. As far as the flogger strands? Well, I have had sticky stuff on there like honey and chocolate, and I have found that a little bit of soap and water will take care of that mess. You can just towel dry it afterwards and spread the strands out to let them air dry some more, just to make sure mildew doesn't start forming on the rubber strands.
Long story short, this is a great flogger to start one's collection out with. And, if you are a woman who likes the color pink as much as I do, you can't go wrong selecting it in that color.
