I've never tried a crop but I knew it was going to be a matter of time before I did. I finally broke down and ordered the Kitty crop. I actually wanted to try the star or the heart one, but my guy saw the kitty one and was like "THAT ONE" so that's the one I ordered and I'm not disappointed. The Kitty crop is perfect for anyone, it doesn't matter who you are. You can use this alone or in a group setting if you want. The crop is perfect for beginners or people who love a little sting but is not quite ready to try the whips out. Although the kitty crop seems to be more directed to women because of the color. I don't really see why a guy couldn't use it too. The kitty crop can be used as your main source of foreplay or in the actual act of sex. It's very easy to use and if you are new to the world of whips and crops this is the perfect starting point.

The kitty crop is made out of leather, Leather is a water resistant material with a high tensile strength and high resistance to tear. Usually used for harnesses and restraints it has high resistance to flexing and to puncture. Good heat insulator. The crop is made out of real leather, and not fake lather so if you want something that is more vegan, I'd recommend not ordering this. The leather and is made to last so you can use this with the comfortable feeling that this isn't just going to break down on you.

The feel of the leather pretty smooth around the head and the handle of the kitty crop. The crop has this braided texture that is at the bottom that allows you to get a perfect grip. It's strap that is made to help you hold the crop this part is also made out of leather. The leather isn't the thickest, but it's good enough to hold up during heavy play.

The cat's head that is at the top of the crop is also made out of leather. It isn't a very thick leather and does flop around a little bit. The cats head doesn't have anything in the middle of it or so it seems. I'm not risking my crop to find out. The more thinner leather allows for it to pop back when using it. This also helps create a louder pop. The cats head is about a inch in length and a little over 3 inches in width. The kitty crop itself is over 20 inches long. The crop is extremely light weight and won't cause your hands to become tired during use.

The crop also has this braided pink and black handle. I'm not quite sure what it's made out of but it isn't leather. The texture of it is quite bumpy. The braided handle does have some give to it and gives this small bouncing affect when the crop hits the skin. I wouldn't recommend bending the handle because you could possibly break it in half.

The kitty crop offers a very good sting when slapped against the skin. The sound of the crop popping against your skin is a little more intense than the actual sting itself. The feeling of the cats head hitting your body delivers a quick but sharp sting. It isn't something that will make you scream in pain but it will send these massive chills running through your body. It's the perfect amount of sting for beginners and people who aren't beginners but like some lite play. If you are into more serious pain that can possibly leave bruising or anything then this wouldn't be the best crop of for you. The handle of the kitty crop gives you a lot of room to comfortably bring it back and deliver a good smack.

Caring for the kitty crop is very easy. It doesn't require much work because this shouldn't be used in really messy situations. When you aren't using it you should try to lay it flat and make sure the cats head is laid down. I worry that if you don't it will fold and leave a crease and make your crop not much fun anymore. If you were to get lube or body oil on it, because sometimes things happen. You can't take a wet cloth and wipe it down. Don't run it under water or allow it to sit in water because that can ruin the leather, and cause it to swell up.

The package that it comes in isn't special at all, It's just a plastic bag. This can be used for storage if you want or you can toss it.

We had a lot of fun with the kitty crop. I do like crops, they are quite fun. I still like paddles a little more but I would order another crop. When we got it home my fiancé thought this was the cutest thing he had ever seen. When you think of bondage and spanking, you don't think of cute cats. The first time we used it we were surprised.
