The Lover's Super Strap is a vegan friendly crop by Cal Exotics. Crops are used in impact play, for couples just starting to experiment with such play or for the more advanced couples in the BDSM lifestyle. This particular crop has an adorable heart shaped slapper on the end that is wide enough to take some of the sting out making this good for beginners, while still being fierce enough to leave lovely red marks, possibly even welts if swung hard enough.

This crop is 25" total length, from the tip of the heart shaped slapper to the tip of the red rubber handle. This breaks down to a 24" cane (unsure of material, feels sturdy, maybe fiberglass?) which is slightly tapered and wrapped completely in black, tightly woven nylon.

The heart shaped slapper is two pieces of faux leather, measuring 3" at the widest point and 2 1/2" tall, which appear to be glued together as there is no stitching around the outer edge.

This slapper is held in place by red nylon string which is stitched around the tip of the cane and then wrapped around the faux leather and down the cane approximately 3 1/2".

The handle is a 6" long piece of hard red rubber with nubs down the entire length of the handle giving it a nice grip.

This is a really well made crop which looks and feels as if it will last a good long time.

This made a great first crop for us, we've had it several months and still enjoy it. The slapper is wide enough to help take some of the sting out, but only if your partner wants to be gentle. This is long enough and sturdy enough to incorporate the cane portion into your impact play as well, which will be a much more severe sting and will leave nice red marks and possibly even welts if swung with the proper amount of force. We weren't able to get it to leave any heart shaped marks, mostly just red cane marks.

Care for this crop is very easy; it really shouldn't need much cleaning as it won’t typically come into contact with bodily fluids. But on the chance that it does I would advise to keep to spot cleaning with a damp rag and a mild soap as I'm not sure about the glue holding the two pieces of faux leather being able to hold up to being very wet or around harsher cleaning products. The rubber handle can actually slide off to be cleaned so it could be cleaned more thoroughly with soap and water or a mild bleach solution if need be.

As there is no loop for hanging this crop to store it you'll need an area long enough to keep it is. This was a disappointment as it isn’t very small; I would rather have been able to store it hanging on the back of the door with my other impact play items.
