This mask isn't for the rough-and-tumble sessions. The mask blocks the light very well, and the only bits of light you can see are if you force your eyes to look straight down. The elastic on the mask holds it in place, but the satin can be moved easily if even one of the straps slips off. This mask is for a more sensual experience that will leave you begging for more. You can even use this for a normal sleep mask, and you don't even need to disguise it if you want to keep your toys hidden.

This mask may fall off if you are very rough when you play or if you toss and turn at night, but the material is so soft and smooth that the faults are easy to ignore. This is a toy for sensuality and would work well in a kit with candles, flavored lube, satin sashes, and the right music. It's nice and light which makes it easy to travel with. You could slip it easily into any travel bag for a sensual surprise on your next vacation. This blindfold had a sleek, smooth design that fits well around the nose. The mask will cover the forehead and slowly slope to cover the eyes. You can see light if you look down, but other than that, the purple version seems to block the light better than the lighter colors would. The most light I've been able to see while using it was a dim glow. I couldn't see any movement around me with the mask on - even under the brightest light. The satin Love Mask is very well made and will not break after a rough night. I only had a few problems with some loose threads that were not snipped after the sewing was completed but even cutting those away will not make the mask collapse. Even if the mask does fall apart, the mask would be simple to repair.

The soft satin is gentle on the eyes, and the fit is very good. There is a small padded layer enveloped in the satin which makes a total of 3 layers of fabric. The elastic can pull a little tight at times, but you cannot see through the purple mask. I have an average size face, and the mask covers just enough. The only thing that might detract from this product is the fact that the type of satin isn't disclosed, so if you're looking for a vegan product, you can't be sure with this one.

The Love Mask worked extremely well for me. I bought this product both for the thrill of sensory deprivation and the fact that I needed a sleep mask to deal with dorm life. This mask completely exceeded my expectations, and I've found that if I keep it in my coat pocket, my hands are actually a bit warmer just by wrapping the mask around them. The elastic has never cut my head, and it never really slipped off of my head during play unless we were playing rough. The packaging is nice enough that I would give it to a friend as a gift, and there wasn't any excess packaging.
