Little Flogger
The Floggerella is a medium length and sturdy little flogger. It is pretty rather than scary! It can deliver a lovely tickling sensation, a light flogging or a stinging and rather intense session. It's perfect for a warm up or for those just starting out in the world of bondage and discipline. It offers something for everyone.

Pros
Well made, sturdy, great as a warm up
Cons
Not a heavy hitter type flogger
Floggerella by Leatherbeaten was on of the first floggers to catch my eye when I began looking for tools that wouldn't be totally threatening to my partners. I figured a smaller flogger that was beautifully colored might just fit that criteria and I was right.
The Floggerella is made of thin and medium quality garment leather and each fall has a velvety soft back. The falls don't shed with use so there won't be any little flecks of leather left after you play. The single fall doubled over and secured to the handle of the toy is buttery soft and feels insubstantial but it has stood up to being hung on a natural wooden peg and being threaded through a leather belt. There are no signs of wear and tear even after frequent use over a period of 9 months or so. The flogger itself is very light, weighing in at only .1 pounds and feels very non-threatening.
This is a very pretty flogger with medium length falls (11 inches). This allows for a good swing and a flick of the wrist. The longer falls also feel amazing when stroked gently over your 'victims' body. The falls are very thin measuring only a fourth of an inch wide which means they can deliver quite a whallop if the person doing the flogging is sufficiently motivated. The pain that this baby delivers is sharp and stinging not dull and thuddy. The falls tend to clump together and allow the user to pin-point precision when swinging. I thought this would make the strike thuddy by spreading out the force but it doesn't. It concentrates the sensation leaving a stinging sensation that I quite like.
The handle measures 7 inches in total length and is about as thin as a pencil. It can cause hand fatigue if you tend to hold a flogger with a tight grip over time. It is composed of PVC and has softer PVC wrapped around the base of the thin handle and the cup containing the falls. The falls and handle are very securely attached and cannot be dislodged even with vigorous tugging. The cup holding the falls measures about 1.5 inches and the end part that holds the handle measures roughly 1 inch leaving roughly 4 inches for your hand to comfortably rest.
My Floggerella has 10 falls though I suppose there could be some variation. The color saturation on the garment weight leather is even and without staining. This isn't a toy meant for serious players but it is also not one that even a serious player would be embarassed to have in their arsenal. Having a variety of weights, materials and 'strengths' just seems to make sense.
It is very unlikely that this flogger would ever abraid the skin enough to cause bleeding but there are other fluids you could conceivably get on your flogger. I would recommend wiping the falls with a soft, lint free dry cloth and if positively necessary using a mild strength leather cleaner.
The flogger can be stored by hanging it from the handle strap out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry area. If it is left hanging for a long period of time I would caution the user to shake the flogger vigorously outside to dislodge any dust that may have accumulated on the falls. It is decidedly unsexy to get a face full of dust during a flogging!
This is a leather flogger so I would highly recommend keeping the falls dry or letting them dry fully before storing as leather has a tendency to mold and mildew. A hair dryer set on cool will dry the falls easily should they require it.
The overall size of the flogger means it can be carefully folded and carried in a small case or purse. Simply gather up the falls and twist them gently around the handle being careful to avoid bending or creasing the individual falls. I usually take a hair band (think scrunchie not Bon Jovi) and gently wrap it around the falls and handle if I plan to carry it to a play event but don't want to drag out my huge flogger case.

Oh my goodness, I still love this little flogger. It is great to take with me to a play party and still looks amazing after all the mileage I have put on it!
