Less Then An Eight
I've been kinky, I love restraints, but this just won't ever do it. It didn't fit, it was really only a mood killer. We ended up finally being able to use it, but it wasn't put on as intended. Not something I'd recommend for others to buy unless you know what you are doing already.

Pros
Soft material, Usable in water
Cons
Cheap material, bad fit, unclear on how to wear it
I was browsing around on EdenFantasys, looking in the kinky toy sections when I came across this cock and ball toy. I was excited. I thought it would be really fun, and maybe my significant other would be happily surprised. Well, it came this morning and I immediately wanted to try it. I got on my knees and started to lick his cock, and slipped it on. Even with him erect, the center didn't fit him properly. It was large and a little awkward in the way it fit him. I don't know if anybody larger would fit better, but I doubt it.
Well, I tried to go ahead with it. The way the picture looks, the restraint is meant to slide the center around the cock, and then the straps to restrain his balls go under and then snap together at the base of his cock. This was awkward, I was having trouble getting it to close. It was even hurting him because of how tightly I had to pull it.
We tried to put this restraint on in other ways. We did it upside down, so that the center went under his cock instead of over it. He said it looked awkward, and it wouldn't close. We also tried so that the center went over his cock, but with the straps that wrap around his balls closed at the bottom side of his cock. That didn't work either.
After a few days, or maybe a week, my guy surprised me with sex in the shower. He brought the restraint in with him, which surprised me. We gave it another try. He said that he managed to get it on, that it was tight on his balls and a little painful, but claimed that it wasn't bad. My guy said that he wasn't able to get it on the way it seemed it should, but that as it didn't have any clear instruction, you could have free reign on how you used it. My guy says that it was adequate feeling with experimentation but completely useless if worn as it appears in the picture.
The restraint is a cheap, leather like material, but it is soft due to the fur like material lining the inside. Some people may have an allergic reaction. Just think of those fake leather bracelets you can get at hot topic or Spencers to understand the way it feels. I've had bracelets of this material, and they always end up breaking after a couple of months because of being used - taken on and off, being bent. I tested this by bending the restraint back and forth and feeling for ridges to appear in the material, because that's always how it feels before that certain material breaks. The material didn't really have any smell, and to me there was no taste ether. It came inside of a box, and was placed inside plastic. It's basically identifiable as a cock and ball restraint, in my own opinion.
I wouldn't know what to clean this with, I've never owned a cock restraint of this material, but I would say that maybe a wipe on the outside should suffice. We used this in the shower, and I've been informed that you can soak this in water, so I think getting it wet is alright but I expect it to crack over time.
The snaps on this toy are metal buttons, and for each of the straps that go around the guys balls, there are two tightness snaps. There is only one snap button for the center, which is what wraps around the cock. That contributed to the awkwardness because there was no way to adjust the fit when I put it on my guy. I feel that this restraint looked cute but just wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped it would be.

Experience
My experiences in the past have never included an actual restraint. My guy and I are very kinky. We love being restrained and tied up, and I know he loves tying up his cock. Usually, we use rope or ties that we can easily manipulate. So, I thought that we could try something that wasn't intimidating and simple to use.
Unfortunately, I think I only made my guys opinion of purchasing restraints worse then it was already. He likes just using rope, and he kind of laughed at me when I made him open the box to look at it. I wanted to try it on him, to see how it fit and felt. He seemed open to it, but things quickly went down hill.
At first, we put it on wrong. We struggled with it because the straps that go around his balls wouldn't close. We got one side closed, but not before it pinched his sack multiple times. We couldn't get the other side closed. By that time, the excitement was gone and he wasn't interested. I got online to look for a picture of how it was supposed to go on, and he threw it on the bed.
I found the product picture, and asked him to try it again. He grudgingly obliged me. We got it on, but it hurt him again when I tried to put the restraint on his balls again. He took over, and eventually got it on all the way. The center didn't fit his cock properly, and he was quick to point that out again. He also said that one side felt tighter then the other, even though he had them at the same restraint snap on both sides.
So, we both got tired of trying and he measured it, saying that the snaps were placed equally so he didn't know why it felt uneven. This only thing that this product did was put a restraint on our sexual mood. The last thing he said about it was that he was more excited about the free shipping then about the actual product. I don't know how I will get him to try another restraint now.
We may have liked it if there had been a clear instruction of how to make it fit him properly, and how to place it on him so that it didn't hurt him and so that we didn't have to fumble around with it.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
When I bought this, I thought that it would be interesting and fun. However, after the time we used it in the shower, it has been put off and forgotten in a box in the closet. It doesn't hold any interest for either of us now.
I may try to find a new one, maybe something a little more sturdy or something more clearly instructed in use. I doubt that this cock and ball restraint will be included in our sexual routines again. We may just stick to rope and ties, which work and fit much better then anything I've seen so far.

Thank you for viewing Sewn figure 8 cock and ball toy – male sex toy review page!
You might try one like this or this one. The latter one I have had good luck with and it is my oldest C-ring at 25 some odd years old.
@Dwtim Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into trying it! I never knew that.
Dwtim, that's interesting... They taught us in health (oh, say, eight years ago now?) that the testicles will lower to keep the sperm from getting TOO warm, or else they would die. Now I'm questioning my education! ^^;;
I also heard they suck up to protect themselves and what not~
