The LELO products I have tried have required charging before the amazing enjoyment. The Etherea Silk Cuffs offer the same amazing enjoyment and quality but don't require waiting. They are great for couples wanting to restrict each other from anything but pleasure. The luxurious silk and suede make you feel classy instead of trashy. These are not cheap, but they are delicate, so they are not the best for hardcore BDSM or bondage play.

These cuffs are so soft! The ribbon attachments are even softer. The cuff itself has two sides that you can wear either way. One way has the super fine suede. Some suede gives me goosebumps if I rub it the wrong way, but this kind is fine instead of coarse. It has a light smell of leather, but only if you get close to it. I rather like the smell of dead cows even though I'm a vegetarian. This side also has a small LELO tag and the slits for the ribbon to slide through. The ribbon actually slides freely. You can remove it if you'd like or slide to cuff to where you feel it would be best for placement. The reverse side to the cuff is silk with a flowered embroidery. The size of the cuff is 2 1/2" by 8 1/2" long. It is also shaped like a blind fold. The ribbon is two ply but still very thin feeling. Total length of the ribbon is almost 60" long. This makes them fit everybody. They are not scratchy at all and feel very comfortable.

Because these are so luxurious, I feel that they are classy enough to even be worn as bracelet cuffs with ribbons or just left out and gone unnoticed. They are fine for travel and their case makes this even more possible.

These cuffs are made of luxurious and high end materials. This makes them delicate, so these don't work well for hardcore play but worked wonderfully for my partner and I. We like to be tied up without the pain but with the restriction. These offered that wonderfully. As cuffs, they fit his wrists and mine with no problems and even worked well in other ways. He used these to tie my wrists to my ankles for a bent over position and even used one of them as a blind fold. The ribbons were easy to tie and long so I could tie his hands far apart with no problem. They were also easy to untie. Just don't struggle too much. This causes the gorgeous lace to get kinks and twists. I really liked that the cuff was independently moving form the ribbons. This allows the wearer comfort and control even when already tied up.

To clean suede you need a suede cleaner. You can find a suede protector spray and cleaner at most shoe stores. Be careful to not get it wet or expose it to oils. This material also stains easily and can become permanently damaged. The silk needs to be hand washed, but since the suede cannot get wet, you need to spot clean the silk. Store these in a cool dry space, preferably in the box they came in.

In true LELO fashion, even the packaging is luxurious. The Etherea cuffs come in a small black glossy box which is very discreet. The front has a picture of the product, while the back has a blurb about it in a few different languages. Inside this box is another even more luxurious box made of durable, thick, black, cardboard. The top says LELO and on the inside it makes you feel like you are opening an engagement ring. There is fibered paper covering the product that is neatly folded. I wish the box was just a tad larger so that it didn't require the precision of refolding maps to get these back into the box perfectly. The box without the outside sleeve, would go completely unnoticed on a nightstand and that is where I display mine without worry.

I am giving the Etherea silk cuffs 5 stars. They are high end and classy as well as being easy and comfortable to use. They do require a tough cleaning if they get dirty, but as long as you respect your belongings and are careful, there will be need for a cleaning hassle. The box is great for discreet storage and gift giving. LELO has done it again...but this time, sans vibrations.
