Lead Me Astray!
The Leather Leash and Collar set is a good choice for those who want a collar that is easy to put on and easy to take off. It comes with a leather leash that can definitely increase the fun, and this collar looks sexy as well.

Pros
Very comfortable collar, Leash works well with collar, Collar is sturdy, Adjustable to most sizes
Cons
Stitching is a bit uneven in places
The Leather Leash and Collar set is a Sportsheets set that includes both a leather collar and a leather leash. The leather collar goes up to a circumference of 19 inches in diameter. The leash is 42 inches long. Both are made from leather, and the collar fastens with three buttons for an adjustable length on the backside of the collar.
The packaging for this collar and leash is very basic. It's a plastic box where the collar and leash sit inside the see-through box. The box is a bit large for storage, but you could keep them in there if you wanted. The packaging shows a couple in their underwear playing with the set, but it's tasteful, and it displays the product nicely.
The collar is surprisingly comfortable. The front side, that everyone sees, is made from soft leather. This side also includes rivets for decoration. These little rivets have the "S" from the Sportsheets logo on them, so they look really neat. Along with this, there's also three buttons to adjust the tightness of the collar. The D-ring is fastened to the bottom-front of the collar, and this is fastened on by a loop of nylon that holds the D-ring to the collar itself. All of the collar seems pretty nicely stitched, and I'm not worried about it coming undone or becoming unusable anytime soon. There are a couple places where the stitching is a bit crooked, but it's nothing that's going to effect the use of the collar.
The backside of the collar is the reason why it's so comfortable. The backside of this collar is lined with a soft, felt-like material that is very soft up against the skin. It almost feels like a thin fleece that you'd find on your pajamas. This makes the collar very, very comfortable to wear. Also added to this comfort is the fact that the rivets from the front side do not show on the backside, so you don't have to worry about annoying, itchy rivets up against the skin. The buttons are against the skin, but the rivets are not. This soft, felt-like material can be a bit warm though, so if you're getting strenuous or you are wearing this for a long period of time, it can get a bit sweaty. However, for most usage, it's just a nice, comfortable collar because of this extra material. The edges of the collar do not uncomfortable scratch your neck, but they will leave temporary red marks if you put the collar on too tightly. A general rule of thumb is that you should be able to always get two fingers slid underneath the collar.
I'd say that most people should be able to wear this collar. The boyfriend usually has issues with some collars being too tight, but he could easily wear this on the tightest button with absolutely no problem. There are three buttons to adjust the tightness of this collar, and while they definitely do take pressure to fasten, this is to avoid the buttons coming undone when you don't want them to. We've had no issues with the collar slipping off or the buttons coming undone. Unlike other collars, we've also had no issue with his hair catching in the buttons of the collar too. The collar tends to stay pain-free when he's using it.
The leash is just a basic leash. I can't say that it's really impressive in any way; it's just a leash. It's a bit thinner than what you'd expect to find as a pet leash since the thought is that a human won't "run away" if the leash breaks. The handle is comfortable enough to hold in your hand, but it is just leather, so if you hold it awhile, it isn't too comfortable as it isn't too flexible. The clip and the handle seem to be attached well enough, but if you got really, really, REALLY rough, the leash may break. It would take a lot of strength to that though. We're talking "I've been kidnapped and am trying to get away" legitimate strength.
When put together, the set works well. The leash clips onto the collar really nicely, and the D-ring seems to be sewn onto the collar really tightly. The collar pulls mostly on the back of the neck which is what is wanted as the front is much more delicate. You can easily pull your partner around, and while it will hurt if you tug too hard, it doesn't hurt from the collar or on a regular basis which is something that regular pet collars and leashes could do.

Experience
Cleaning this set is pretty easy. You don't want to use regular soap as the chemicals in soap could harm the leather of the leash and collar. Instead, take a slightly damp washcloth, and you gently wipe down the leather of both items. If you get bodily fluids on either of the items, you should not share as it's pretty hard to make leather safe again (it requires not using the set for a long time), and it's better safe than sorry. Avoid getting lubricants around these, and try to make sure to let the items dry before putting them into storage. For storage, the leash shouldn't matter too much, but you can keep the collar laying flat (to avoid creases in the leather).
Overall, if you want a comfortable collar that also happens to come with a leash, this set is worth looking into. The collar is comfortable, and it should fit a variety of neck sizes. The leash connects to the collar well, and it makes a good set to pull around with your partner. If you want a leash and collar set, this one is definitely worth looking into.
