Rated Leatherbeaten's best selling cuffs, these are probably the most attractive pair of softer cuffs that I've ever seen. They are foam padded with comfort in mind, made of high quality materials to last a long time, and fit a wide range of sizes so that people of most sizes can use them. Classy, beautiful, and stunning, they can be used for a number of different reasons and occasions.

As many people have said, the cuffs are a bit confusing to put on—alone, at least. They're actually quite simple to put on a partner. With your partner's wrists or ankles in your hands, wrap the Dragon Silk Ankle Restraints around them. Since there are two edges, one with the leather adjustment strap and one with the buckle, take the edge with the leather strap, holding only the cuff in your hand, and put it under the buckle edge's cuff. Make sure that as you are adjusting the cuffs, the actual silk cuff from the strap edge is under the buckle edge cuff and the leather strap stays on top of both edge's cuffs.

The Dragon Silk Ankle Restraints are made with 100% silk, thick with a two inch width, sturdy and beautiful. And when they say "100% Silk," they are not lying—these truly are real silk, and with real silk comes the good, and bad, parts of the sultry material. It is smooth to the touch, and, though it won't ever be touching the wearer, is nice to run your fingers over.

Leatherbeaten uses a strong, high quality leather on both the straps and the inside of the cuffs. This allows the cuffs to not only last longer and stay put when used, but to also be comfortable and worn for long periods of time. For the inside, the suede side of the leather is not what will be touching the skin; instead, it's smooth, and presses against the skin softly when worn. The straps are very firm, keeping the silk restraints in place and not allowing you or your partner to wiggle out of them when worn.

In addition to the smooth leather inside, they are padded with foam inserts that keep the person wearing them comfortable and safe. All of the hardware is nickel plated, so if you have any allergies, be cautious. The non-locking but sturdy buckle is nickel-plated steel and the rivets are nickel-plated brass. With a total of fourteen adjustment holes in the leather strap that accommodates sizes 5 1/2" to about 12 1/2", these cuffs are very versatile and can be used for a number of different things—not only as simple ankle cuffs! For larger or smaller people, these are great. They can fit practically any person, which is a good thing because they are wanted by so many.

So, how do Leatherbeaten's beautiful restraints work in use? Well, to answer that, I would have to say...perfectly. When on, if tightened enough, they do not slip around, are extremely comfortable, and can be worn for as long as you want your partner to wear them. These can also be used by many different people, from those who enjoy softer restraint to those hardcore dominants like me. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable for using them for suspension though. They are lovely and strong, but I do not think that suspension would be something that they can be used for.

I've found these to be very versatile, actually. A good use for these, because of their size, is as a collar or ankle/wrist restraint. With one cuff, if you or your partner's ankles are thin enough, you can restrain their ankles and use the other cuff as a wrist restraint or a collar. My mum saw these on the couch as I was writing this and, since her favorite color is purple, she said how these would make such a beautiful collar. I definitely agree—if you like thicker, padded collars, like the Luxe White Collar, this set would fit the mold perfectly.

Because of the materials that are used (100% silk, high quality leather), these should be taken extremely good care of and be used cautiously. Do not get anything on the silk—absolutely no exceptions. Of course, if you get sweat on them, the dark color will hide that easily. But anything else, of light or dark colors, will ruin the silk and make it look blotchy and unattractive. Nothing can be done to clean the silk, except for use of cold water lightly dabbed on it; even that sometimes does not work, as it leaves water spots.

The leather can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth, rubbing it over the area. Be careful when cleaning the leather though as to not get anything on the silk while cleaning. Afterward, leave the restraints out to dry, making sure that they're in a place where they will not become mucked up or touched so that neither the leather nor the silk will become dirty again.

To store them, keep them somewhere where other products will not interfere with their materials. I personally am keeping them in my drawer with my other restraints and leather products. Such a place is good to store them, and if you'd like, you can keep them in the plastic packaging that they came in, just to keep them extra safe.

Simply placed in a plastic packaging with a paper insert, these cuffs came to me safely and were a pleasure to behold. I will be recycling my packaging, but if you're worried about maintenance, it's an easy, safe place to keep them.

For newer users, getting something so high quality might not be necessary or worth it—if you are not sure if you would like restraint, either having yourself or a partner in cuffs—then something of a lower price tag might be more doable. People who enjoy restraint as much as I do would definitely love these. They're so lovely—even though they're plush, they can definitely be used by experienced, hardcore users.

Personally, I absolutely adore these cuffs. Out of all of Leatherbeaten's cuffs, these are my favorite pair. Though they are much softer, they can be used in rougher play—which is a great thing. I've been looking at them for a long time now, completely attracted to their beautiful Asian-inspired silk and black leather accents. These are my absolute favorite pair now—I believe that Leatherbeaten has made a very satisfied man out of me.

I absolutely love to put these cuffs on my little girl. Since they do fit as wide of a range as they do, I've used them as wrist restraints, even on her tiny wrists. My favorite ways to use these are either in missionary position, with her wrists above her head and her thighs around my hips, or in doggy-style, her hands tied behind her back, her little bum up in the air.
