It's Amazing What Can Be Done With Just A Piece Of Rope…
They can easily be adjusted to as long as 48 inches in length, and the swivel snap clasp had no issues fastening around anything that I attached them to. The nylon straps are tough, and I have complete faith that they will hold up very well, no matter how rough your play gets. They are very easy to tighten down or release and the adjustable buckle doesn't slip like some cheaper models do...

Pros
A really good, basic pair of sturdy tethers.
Cons
Could have been longer, and been a set of four instead of two.
I mean, really, the options are just unlimited when it comes to these tethers. If you can imagine it, then you can probably do it.

Now, the spiraled round rings (looks just like a key ring) might be another story altogether. These are typical with Sportsheets products and I've had issues with these actually being easier than one might think to bend, pull apart, and break if I'm struggling a lot. Granted, I'm athletic, which means I have more upper body strength then most women, and I enjoy really testing any type of restraint I'm put in, but this is something that you might want to keep in mind. If you think it's going to be an issue for your play, then it is simple to remove them and replace them with d-rings instead like I tend to do with anything that has these types of rings.
And although the snaps included are great and I don't plan on replacing them, a previous reviewer of this product brought up a valid point about them being difficult to open if you are suspending someone or restraining them standing up and there might the concern of them passing out and your ability to get them down. If that is going to be the case, then it will probably be a good idea to pick up a pair of double ended quick release clasps (like what you use with equine cross-ties) at the hardware store to use with these instead. Either that, or be fully prepared to cut someone down if need be.

Experience
Even though there are so many ways to use these, I purchased them to go with the Under the Bed Restraint System and the Thighcuffs, both also by Sportsheets. I had a theory that I could “customize” the Under The Bed Restraint System to not only have wrist and ankle restraints, but to also have thigh restraints as well by attaching these tethers to it and attaching the Thighcuffs to them, and I turned out to be SO right! It worked out perfectly and if you'd like more information on how I did that, then please take a moment and go read my reviews on both of those products.
The only way my results could have been better was if the tethers could have extended out to 60 inches instead of just 48 inches, as anyone with a king size bed will be out of luck as far as this little modification is concerned, and even if someone was super petite, they might have an issue with a queen sized bed. I'm 5 foot 9, and I did just fine with a queen size bed, but I knew that wouldn't have been the case with a king sized one. I would have had to find a different pair of tethers.
It also would have been nice if the kit had come with a set of four, instead of two, but maybe I'm just being greedy!
But all in all, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend these in combination with any of the Sportsheets products as they will match perfectly, or just as a simple pair of basic yet sturdy tethers for any level of play.
