It may look threatening...
This Wartenberg wheel, while looking intimidating, is anything but. You can use it all over your body in a number of ways to get a response out of anyone. It's fun to use and tease someone while exploring their body. If you want to get into the world of sensory play, the Double Spur is a great addition to your toy collection that won't break the bank while giving you infinite ways to use.

Pros
Two wheels instead of one
Sturdy handle
Sturdy handle
Cons
The wheels are a bit wobbly
Despite how scary it may look, I can promise that the Double Spur is NOT sharp and is completely safe! I am a big fan of edge play (which encompasses all things on the "edge" of the SSC rule for kink - safe, sane, and consensual), and I love fear, which is exactly what a Wartenberg wheel is for. If you're a fan of sensory play, then Wartenberg wheels are something that you should look into!
Wartenberg wheels are normally used in the medical field for neurological tests and to test nerve reactions and sensitivity. Like Hitachi vibrators (originally used for relieving tension in sore muscles and physical therapy) and urethral sounds (for catheters or other health reasons), the kinky side of society took the Wartenberg wheel and made it into something sexual, which is a great thing! A Wartenberg wheel works exactly as its medical use, creating stimuli across your skin that you can have various reactions to, whether it's goosebumps across your arms, a tickling sensation, or something painful.
The Double Spur, in particular is made of metal with a gold-plated handle. The spikes are not sharp, but please use caution as anything pointy can and will break the skin and draw blood if used improperly. Because it's made of metal, it's conductive, which means that it could be fitted to work with an electric toy to send shocks at pinpointed spots on your body.
I am not a sensitive person, and most light and delicate touches do not make me shiver or get goosebumps, so using this on sensitive places does not get a reaction out of me. However, if you are a fan of fear play, feeling the cold metal across your skin with your eyes closed can make your mind race with thoughts of what it could be. Using your imagination is key and makes any experience that much more exciting!
This toy is metal and is not made for insertion (although it could be inserted, no judgment here), so using rubbing alcohol or a 10% bleach solution is okay to clean if anything gets on it. This toy was made for experimentation, so using it on different parts of your body with varying pressure and angles is sure to get a reaction out of anyone.
