There are no user instructions nor are there any care directions. I would have preferred care instructions at the very least.

I would say it's pretty discreet as you could say it's for blocking out the light to sleep. It doesn't say that it is for sexual purposes on the tag.

So far, my experience with this blindfold has been a great one. I have used it both for sleeping, blocking out light, and blocking out my sense of sight during playtime.
