If the Collar Fits, Wear it
The Fresh Snap Collar is a well-made collar that, unfortunately, the developers didn't seem to do their research before making it. This collar just ends up being a bit too small on the length department to fit most average people. However, measure your neck first, and if you fit it, it is a cute collar worth owning.

Pros
Adorably cute, small width, vegan
Cons
Probably won't fit, uncomfortable
The Fresh Snap Collar is made by PHS International. The neat thing about this collar is that it's completely vegan, so no animal products were used when making this collar. (This collar and color scheme are part of a larger set that can be found by searching "fresh" here on EF.) The collar is seventeen inches long and made from polyethylene. It closes by some snaps (three of them) on the back of the collar which means this collar can adjust to be tighter. The collar is about 3/4 inches tall which is definitely pretty thin when compared to most collars.
The packaging is actually really cute. The "Fresh" series really has some of the cutest packaging for bondage stuff I've seen. It's pink, blue, green, and lots of other fun colors and shows a girl wearing the collar. It's blister packaging, and it's easy to take the collar out and put it back in for long-term storage if you need to.
I'm a bit concerned about the sizing for this collar. It wouldn't fit around my neck at all, and it fastened on my boyfriend's, but it was tight. (On my neck it had a full inch before it would fasten.) These are on the loosest settings. I suppose it's possible that we have pretty large necks, but we used some of the smaller neck sizes when we got him a metal collar for his neck, so I'd imagine this collar is just a bit on the short side. So if you want this collar, make sure to measure your neck and make sure it's 17 inches or smaller. This collar ends up being a bit too tight on the boyfriend which means our review might not be as accurate as for someone who it fit, but it shouldn't make much of a difference. (As a side note, the packaging says the three snap settings are at 14", 15", and 16", so measure your neck!)
Something that grossed me out: When we first took the collar out the packaging, we went to put it straight onto my boyfriend. While unfastened the buttons, I noticed that the collar was sticky. No, it wasn't from THAT, but it was from the glue that glued the layers together not having been cleaned up. The glue was around both of the edges on both sides of the collar, but a quick wipe-down with a damp washcloth with water cleaned it up really quickly. Just be aware it might be there or it might put a damper on your "present".
So how is the collar made? It seems to be made pretty well. The blue shown here in the EF pictures is really pretty and bright. And while the pink in these EF pictures matches the collar, the blue of the collar seems to be much more muted. I'm sure the video will reflected that. As to how it's put together: The inner squishy layer is sewn and glued to the outer blue layer which is much more firm. The pink layer is fastened on by some rivets to the blue layer. The pink layer does stand off from the blue layer at certain angles which makes it a bit less attractive, but it's hard to notice when worn on a person. The back of the collar does contain three different snaps which makes it really easy to adjust the size of the collar.
One of the reasons I was really attracted to this collar is because of the small width and cute colors. Most bondage gear looks so serious, but this collar ended up look really cute and really playful. Plus, I love having the boyfriend lounge around in a collar, but most of the collars we currently own are really huge in width (like two inches or more), so they end up scratching at his neck because they are too wide for more than two hours' use. I wanted this for long-term use.
It seemed to work at first. It snapped relatively okay on his neck and didn't cause much of a problem. However, after about twenty minutes, he said the collar was getting really itchy. I've attributed this to a couple things. For one, the collar was too tight which means the nice spongy part on the inside of the collar was scratching up against the skin. Then there's the snaps on the backside as well as the rivets on the inside of the collar as well. All of those could contribute to making this collar feel kinda scratchy. However, I tried wearing this on a loose part of my leg, and it wasn't itchy at all. These problems only seem to exist if the collar is too tight which again, means measure the collar before you put it on.

Experience
When the collar fits loosely, it seems to be much more comfortable. However, it's hard to find a neck that this will be loose on because of the size. When it fits right, the squishy backing of the collar makes this collar really comfortable to wear, and while this collar won't take any sort of pressure since it's just snap-buckled as well as there's no D-ring, it does make a cute accessory to a kinky outfit. (Especially since it's pink and blue. It will make some cute lingerie.)
For cleaning, I recommend wiping this down with a warm washcloth. Since this shouldn't get near bodily fluids, it shouldn't need much more. For storage, I recommend storing it in the circular shape in the package or outside of the package.
I like this collar. It's cute, it's fun, and i love the colors. However, I just wish it came in a larger size. It seems like that would end up fixing a bit of the problems that it's having. As it stands, most male necks probably won't fit in here (According to Google, the average size is 15 1/2) and looking at jewelry sites, most sites go from 16-18 inches when it comes to neck size for choker jewelry. However, on a weight loss site, apparently some people do have 12/13 inches - it was just a minority. So basically, measure before you buy, but if you are just going to guess, I'd say guess on the side of your neck being too big.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
We still like this collar, but we ended up giving it away to a friendly kink cople. It was just too small for the boyfriend's neck, so it was always uncomfortable when he attempted to use it. I asked them, and they said the collar is holding up though, so it seems like the collar was made with quality in mind.

Thank you for viewing Fresh snap collar review page!
It looks like this one is best for smaller people. It would be great if they made it in two sizes, that way there wouldn't be too much of a leftover if you had a larger one and had to make it small.
