I Am Not A Dog, I Am A Free Kitten!
If you have a neck that has no issues with collars that are 1.5" wide, this is probably the best collar on Eden to date overall and is a unique piece of gear that is definitely built to last and looks good/stylish as well. I just wish it had been accurately measured (or that the company had given EF accurate measurements) as it would have saved me some money and let me know this wasn't the collar of my dreams.

Pros
Fits Longer Necks, Sturdy, Pretty To Look At, Comfortable If You Have The Neck Width
Cons
Won't Fit Smaller Necks In Both The Width And Length Department, Stiff On Arrival
The Herringbone Collar from Ruff Doggie Styles is a very pretty yet sturdy and tough leather collar that has a criss-cross stitching pattern made of brown leather (also available in black and white stitching) on each side of the centralized D Ring.
I got this collar in hopes it would finally actually work on my rather thin neck area but alas I was disappointed again (the second collar from EF that has not worked perfectly for me) due to (forth time for this) inaccurate measurements. While the collar fit me in length PERFECTLY, it was too wide and 1/4" (doesn't seem like a lot but when it comes to necks it is) more than the already-pushing-it 1 1/4" the site listed, so 1.5" instead of 1.25" in width (I wish EF carried some 1" collars that weren't girly and came in multiple lengths as I have a very long neck).
That aside it was wearable, just not fully comfortable on me, at 22" of usable length excluding buckle (there is enough room at the end of the band to punch at least 2-3 extra holes if it doesn't fit you) with the 'center' 1.5" wide portion being 15" long. The sizing holes are at 17", 17.5, 18", 18.5", 19", 19.5", and 20" (there is room before the first hole position to punch at least one smaller setting but when you get this collar, the smallest it goes is 17", so it won't work for people with really short necks).
The interior of the collar consists of a softer smoother leather which is very comfortable to wear and is tightly sewn to the other half making this collar extremely sturdy and able to take a beating. The stitching on the top side does add a raised portion along the inside lining but is down the entire length of that area so there's only a slightly noticeable spot where the D-ring is that isn't the same 'flatness'.
When you receive the collar it arrives VERY stiff so what I did was just bend and fold the collar in half and quarter sections repeatedly to loosen the leather up and then did some wearing so it would become easier to put on. It should be noted that due to it's design when you close it with the buckle's prong, getting it off on your own can be tricky until you learn how hard you have to push the stiff leather so you can pull the prong out; this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending if you're using this on your own or as a collar from your partner to you. This collar does *NOT* lock by the way so in my opinion is quite passable for a normal dog collar or just as a decorative accessory.
Overall this is a fine product and while it didn't really work as expected for me I am continually impressed by Ruff Doggie Styles products in quality, longevity and results, they make wonderful toys.
P.S if you got the reference in the title of this review, you rock.

Follow-up commentary

This collar is fantastic, don't get me wrong. But as I mentioned in my initial review, I have a very short neck and no matter how much I try and wear this, it's just too tall for me. Maybe someday I'll have a play partner that can wear it though so for now it's buried in my goodie box.
