Zado's Bondage Cross is made to restrict the movement of your partners arms and legs during bondage play. Attaching it to ankle and wrist cuffs, collars or other restraint systems There are a few ways that you are able to do this.

1. Hog tie lying on their stomach.

2. On their knees with their hands behind their backs.

3. Standing so that they have to stay bent over from the front.

4. Attached to the collar leaving their arms from behind able to move from their sides, back or front.

5. Sitting leaning forward exposing much of their back.

Basically its anyway that you can come upwith, and your partner is comfortable sitting in.

The Bondage Cross is made of leather and metal, I am certain that it is genuine leather not only because of the smell when I opened the packaging but because Zado makes certain to tell you how to properly care for the leather.

The leather straps are attached to a metal O ring and on the end of each one they have a karabringer hooks (swivel clips) on the end. The straps are looped at each end around the ring and can be manipulated slightly to be able to move to different positions for how you may wish to bind your partner.

I found the craftsmanship of the whole item to be very well made and sturdy, there was little stretch when pulled at with full strength. Because of the swivel clips at each end you can use this with any cuffs that come with a D or O ring attachment on them. Even with ones that have the clips on the end as well as they can fit those as well. I was able to use this with cuffs from Sport Sheets, A set of custom ones I have made and a set that came with an under the bed restraint system I own.

As for the fit, it depends on the postion I personally use them in, but the straps can be a little short for those who have shorter arms or legs to fit in comfortably.

For me these worked out rather well, save for how short they where on my body. When I tried out the position on the box of kneeling with my hands behind my back I had to lean back a little further then would be comfortable for too long. Though when laying on my stomach in a hog-tie position it was easier to handle. Overall I found it to be a very good product and worked for what it was used for. My suggestion is to try them out but if they feel uncomfortable or even painful, switch. Anyone who is new to BDSM or even old hands at it will find a good use for these.

Leather can be very tricky to care for, but once you know how to care for it correctly it is very easy. Not taking care of it correctly can ruin the leather making it dull and rough. For any spots or marks, use a smooth and moist cloth free of soap or perfume. Any persistent spots that cannot be taken care of with just the moist cloth should be cleaned with a specialty leather cleaner. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents they will damage the leathers surface. If the leather is still moist, do not put it back in the wardrobe or it could rust the metal parts or cause mildew to form, never keep it in plastic bags for this reason as well. You also want to keep it in a cool room. Avoid too much heat, sun, or strong moisture.

The bondage cross came packaged in a simple paperboard box, which is anything but discreet. On both side of the box there is a man in what looks to just be a thong of some kind demonstrating one of the few ways that you can use the cross.

On each side there are small paragraphs in 10 different languages telling you the use for the cross, the length of each strap and the material that it is made out of. Which matches the languages used inside on a slip of paper telling you how to care for the leather.

The straps are also packaged inside in a small plastic bag to keep them from moving around and causing too much damage to the inside of the box.

You could use the box for storage if you wished, but it takes up a lot more space then the straps themselves. Also because of what else I had in my box the packaging got a little dinged up. So you may be better off tossing it, thankfully it can be recycled.
