Hip Whip
A wonderful flogger for any experience level. Colors do not bleed like other, lesser leather products. Suede is soft enough to "tickle" or can be wielded more forcefully to really lay into a sub's backside (or any side). Produces a thrilling "whack" sound. And is easy to control for almost any use.

Pros
Suede leather for lovely strokes and tails are at a great length
Cons
The only one EF sells at the moment is pink/black. There ARE other colors. Mine is green/black.
*sound effect intro, GROAN* When I was first introduced to BDSM, I got a crash course in whips, paddles, floggers, rods (among other things). It's been many years since then and I have come to love and enjoy different tools more so then others. For instance, this flogger.
First, the material is where it's at! I am not a fan of "pleather" (see: plastic made to simulate leather) or rubber floggers for many reasons, but the most relevant is the weight. Because it is made of suede leather, this flogger has a very nice (natural) weight to it. You can let gravity bring the tails down to massage your lover's back with simple strokes - or you can put restrained effort into it and go for hours. For the advanced user, there is still great control for "figure eight" strokes. Also makes a glorious airy sound when pinwheeled - either to bring a light breeze over your lover's body or build up their anticipation as you make your approach.
I have in the past purchased some floggers which ended up being a sorry excuse for leather glued or barely tied off (what a waste of a cow!). What proved to be most problematic with these "others" was that when the leather got wet (either from body sweat or other fluids), the color would run. Soon black smears began to leave their mark on the skin of both dom and sub, as well as the walls, the floor, the bedding, the tub, etc (anything you or the whip touched). This however is not the case with this flogger. I have used it quite alot and have not had any of the ink run or bleed together.
Some, I have found are hard core leather versus suede fans. I am a suede fan, when using a flogger on my sub. With it, I have never left any permanent marks or welts, even on the most sensitive sub's skin. For that reason also, I can give it to my partner, who is still learning about BDSM and know that even if she is nervous and "messes up" it still won't damage me.
And of course, the smell of leather. *deep breath* I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years, but I still love the smell of leather. This flogger retains that smell well and does not harbor any detectable artificial smells from it's production.
I had been looking for the "prefect" flogger to invest in for years. I had seen one at a sex store once upon a time that I fell in love with, but at $200.00 I couldn't quite rationalize it. My searched finally ended when I came across this one, a look-a-like to the expensive one I had seen a year previous. I have since stopped looking for another, as this once has given me years of joy and handling to my comfort.
