This can be used for a number of things. It can be part of a costume, something you wear either inside the bedroom or out on the town. It all depends on your comfort level. This can also be used for bondage. It has a loop built into the front of the collar; you can attach either a leash or a tether, depending on how you are planing on playing with your partner. A leash would work for master/slave type of play, not something we have tried or wanting to try. A tether would add to the bondage, leaving the wearer with limited neck/head movement. Just use care with either option to not put your partner in a situation where they could get choked or tugged on hard, as it would cause damage to their neck.

This can be used by anyone. Though the design makes it more suitable to be used by women. It is just a touch too girly for us guys. Though the wife has used it on me, and I was fine. But then no one but the wife saw it on me.

This can be used during any type of sexual activity that I can think of off the top of my head. I would not use it in or around water, as water and leather do not mix well. This is also travel friendly, as you can toss it in your bag or wear it around your neck.

This is a quality piece. The leather is thick and flawless. It is flexible and forgiving. It is just quality all around. The metal hardware is not what I would consider a heavy duty type, it is closer to a medium duty; it has a clean beautiful chrome finish which is flawless. The leather has a strong leather scent to it. That might bother some, but I love the smell of leather. Just something about it. We also have the harts leather whip, and the leather scent is just starting to fade away. We have had that for a few months now. So I expect this one to mirror that piece, and the leather scent should fade in a few months.

This should fit just about any ones neck. It is adjustable, and has a big range. The largest neck it fits with the factory holes is about 5 inches thick. The smallest is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The 3 1/2 inch looks like it would fit a doll, not a person. It is so small looking. If you find that you neck is in-between these sizes, you can always punch a new hole for the buckle. You have about 3 inches before you reach the end of the collar, to add holes to custom fit this to your neck. I would not go any smaller, but you could. The last hole is right next to a red heart. So if you were to go smaller, you would be punching a hole in a heart; and that would just be mean.

This is 20 1/2 inches long from the tip to the buckle. The leather is about 1/8 inch thick. The width is about 1 inch. The finish on it is perfect. The leather is sewn together with bright red thread. It stands out from the deep black leather. The hearts are also this same deep red. The back side that sides against your skin is semi rough and unfinished. It is not rough enough to cause discomfort from wearage, but you can feel the unfinished leather. The front side is very smooth.

This works out well for us. It looks good, and it fits good at the same time. We don't use it for bondage or any other type of heavy BDSM play. So I am unsure how it would hold up in those situations. I believe that it would work fine, as it is a quality collar. It also has a a metal loop to attach a leash. So whatever type of play you are into, this should work out great for you. It has for us.

This fits my wife's neck perfectly. It also fits mine. And we are very different in body types and sizes. I am always worried when we get something like this, as neither one of us like tight restrictive items around our necks. I hate wearing ties, I will do it but I end up playing with the tie until I can take it off. So it is nice that this can be adjusted to just the right feel. This is super easy to put on. It can be put on by feel alone. You don't need to sit in front of a mirror to see what you are doing, fighting to get the buckle latched.

This also matches the hearts leather whip that we purchased a few months ago. It is a nice set that will last us longer then we need it.

Since this is made from leather, you will need to take extra precautions when cleaning and storing the collar. Leather does not like to sit around wet or damp. Plus you can full clean leather, as it is porous. SO if you are worried about sharing with your partner, then you will each need your own collar. My wife and I are not, we share just about everything with no worries. Plus, this sits around your neck; so it should not be seeing any bodily fluids other then sweat. Like all of your leather items, we wipe this down with a damp cloth and allow it to sit out overnight until it is dry before putting it away. If you have a place to hang this up, that will work the same as letting it air dry on the counter. We have a place to hang this up in her lingerie cabinet. I still take time to let it air dry before putting it away in the cabinet. I am just anal like that.

This comes in a plastic clam shell. You can see the collar sitting on the inside of the package. The package has a paper insert with a picture of both a man and a woman, each look to be nude and wearing a collar around their necks. The packaging is not very discreet. Luckily you do not need to hold onto the packaging after taking out your new collar. While it works for shipping, it does not make a good storage solution. It is big and bulky, and would take up a lot more room then just the collar. We tossed our packaging as soon as we opened it up to use the collar.

This comes with no care instructions or use directions. You don't need directions on how to use it, but some care instructions would have been nice.

We have used this a number of times since we received it. And it has worked out well with every use. My wife likes that it is not too restrictive around her nick. A feature that I like as well. I like the fact that I can combine this with tethers or a leash to hold her head in place, when we are playing with some light bondage. My wife really likes the hearts and the color combo. It is a little too girly for a man to use it, but its not too bad. They also make a plain black one, though I was not able to find it on this site. So that is one way to go, if you feel this would not work for the man in your life.
