When I am looking fem, it is very very showy and fem. Almost fem like a drag queen. When I get mistaken for a drag queen, that is a real complement because it means that I am doing it right. But I do tend to do big hair with really wild hats and head bands.

A few years ago I started using masks as the bases for headbands. But a lot of them sold off and I was wanting one to wear to work on Halloween this past year. I didn't have time to make one so I picked one up.

I got the Sex and Mischief Masquerade Mask to brighten up what I had on at work one day right before Halloween. It is made out of Nylon and Polypropylene. It is gold and silver with glitter all over it in swirls. There is bradding on the edge of the mask and ribbon ties for the back.

As a mask, it's kind of fail. The eye holes are small, even for my tiny face. I had trouble with my eyelashes catching on it and that is more annoying than anything. It also gets hot very fast on the face. I had trouble with not being able to have make up on under it or even with it on because I would just start sweating badly. It also sheds glitter, but almost anything with glitter sheds glitter.

However, it works wonderfully for what I wanted it for. It just tied on under my hair and worked great as a funky and wild head band. The colors go with almost anything that you can wear with it. It also looks great if it's just tipped slightly on the side of the head.

I'm going to keep it around as a headband.
