These soft cuffs are great for people curious about bondage or beginners just starting out. It was our first pair that we purchased before upgrading to sturdier cuffs. They can be released by the person wearing them so no need to feel like you are stuck relying on someone else to release you. Reassurance is key!

The cuffs are soft with easy velcro to seal them shut. Also a good thing in case of immediate release being needed. The chain is not long at all so hands will remain close together at all times and you can personally release yourself if you so choose.

I didnt like the fact that they were so "light" compared to real handcuffs, or more durable cuffs in general. I would have preferred purchasing the real deal when we first decided to try these soft cuffs. But I am a bit of an extremist, so this was just too "safe" for my personal liking.

We do use these in conjunction with everything else, including a gag, leash, clamps, etc. It can be something a couple uses solo for just a little excitement or it can be part of the "package" when the other toys come out. It is all personal preference.

If you choose to clean, a quick wipe down with a wipe is all you need.
I would like to advise that because it is more of a beginner toy, the chain is not incredibly strong. Just keep that in mind when you are using them. They would probably snap easily.

The soft cuffs are a great beginner item for the bdsm/bondage world and for those who may not feel they trust someone enough to cuff them up, these are perfect with the ease of the velcro and hands being able to release each other.
